Mate Camp

Chapter Eleven

Jessie's POV 

I hung up the phone and sighed. I wanted him to be here with me. Snuggle into his strong arms and drown in his gorgeous eyes. I quickly saved his number under 'Mate' before heading into the shower. The hot water is running down my face. Closing my eyes I imagined Tony being in here with me. Having his naked body pressed against mine. I never had many s****l thoughts about anyone. I knew I always wanted to save myself for my mate. And just like that, only the thought of him makes me so lustful. 

Unenthusiastically I got out of the shower. At least the water made me feel comforted. I turned on some music to get my mood up and started on my makeup. I went for a bit heavier look this time. I curled my black hair and put on the blue shiny dress laying on my bed. Checking the time on my phone, I had 15 minutes left before meeting Jill downstairs. I put on my heels and a pair of earrings. I decided to send a picture to Tony. I held my arm out as far as I could capturing most of my outfit and face on the small screen. 'So you can be part of tonight'. I captioned the photo and hit send. I grabbed my clutch and headed for the door when I heard a message come through. 'You make me so wild. I can't wait to make you mine.' Smiling at the thought I replied 'I can't wait to show off your mark'. 

Walking downstairs, I ran into a few people. I didn't know anyone in particular but I definitely have the new girl look going on based on the stares I got. I found Jill talking to someone in the lobby. She spotted me and ended her conversation. "Ready? You look fabulous." She said. "Oh I bet Beta Tony would not be happy about you wearing that without him here guarding you." She said with amusement. 

"I'm sure he'll be fine. I just sent him a picture anyway." 

"Oh just wait until he gets back dear. He will rock your world." Jill said excited, seemingly remembering something she had experienced. Coming out of her trance she continued. "Connor and his friend are coming later because they have to finish their shift." 

"Okay. See someone will be guarding us." I told her confidently as we walked towards her car. 

The air was much warmer today. Unusual for a November night. We got to Katie's house and she came out, wearing a golden sequin dress that covers her just below her ass. "Damn Katie. I thought it was my turn to sparkle tonight." I said to her jokingly. She threw her dark amber coloured hair back, grinning at me. "Well there can never be too many sparkles." Katie got in the car and we headed for the bar. Since it was relatively early, we got a table and sat down. We gave Jill our drink preferences and she got up in her knee length lilac dress and went to order us some drinks. The evening went by without any drama. Just us girls having a good time. Some guys tried to get us to dance with them but backed off once we said no. When Jill's mate arrived with his friend Benjamin, although he insisted we call him Benni, we all sat down at the table. We were laughing all night, talking about embarrassing mate camp training sessions. No mention of my mate. I was glad. I want to keep it that way. Benni said that he has not found his mate yet. He completed the camp about the same time Connor did, almost 3 years ago.  Benni is going to put in a request to travel to other packs hoping to find his mate and bring her back here. After all this time, he is convinced she is not part of our pack. 

It was getting late when we all left the bar together. After safely dropping off Katie at her house, we all drove to the pack house. I said my goodnights and went to my room. Shutting the door behind me, I looked around feeling lonely. I promised to let Tony know once I got home so I sent him a text. 'I'm home love. I miss you.' I put the phone on the nightstand and changed into my comfy pajamas. 'I miss you too. How I wish I could wrap you in my arms right now'. he replied. Smiling, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
