Matilda
"That was quick and settled. That's why you're my role model." Cat said as she walked fast behind her.
"You flatter me too much Cat. Look for a better model with a better past." She replied as they both walked towards her car which was already waiting for her.
"Your past didn't define what you are now, so why should I worry about your past? Any great person today did not always have things easy, so don't stop me from always learning from you. Accept it. You're my role model." Cat pressured. As she wasn't in the mood to argue with her secretary she dropped the subject.
"We're you able to sign off the shipping form I dropped on your desk this morning?" Cat asked as soon as they were settled in the car.
"Argh, no. Somebody rushed into my office and told me there was an emergency, so sorry I am yet to do it." She explained.
"You need to sign them online now, the orders are about to be overdue." And that was what she did till they got back to Self-Sexy.
"I'm done." She announced happily as she gave Cat the iPad with all the signed forms. "This means I get to stay in the store for now right? Please tell me, yes, I don't want to stay in that office again to sign stuff. It is suffocating."
"You should have thought about that before you tried opening a million dollars store." Cat countered.
"Sometimes I wonder who the boss is between the two of us. And I would prefer I sign the shipping online as from now." She murmured as they both walked into the store. There were few customers already so she looked around to see who she should go meet first. She walked towards a young girl whose back was turned to her. From behind, she looked so young she shouldn't be any older than 18. She always loved the young ones.
"Hey there, welcome to Self-Sexy. How may I be of help?" She asked with a smile on her face.
"Oh hi. I'm new here so I'm a little lost and all." The girl explained and Matilda could not be any happier. Young and naive. Perfect combo.
"Don't worry, don't be afraid, I'm sure it's all overwhelming but I'm here to guide you." She said with a smile as she led her to the bigger part of the store.
"My name is Cassy by the way. You must be the owner. My friend told me about you. She said you attended to her. Her name is Mitchell. You might not remember her because I'm sure you attend to a lot of people here per day but she's tall, huge, and has a face packed with..."
"Freckles" She ended the sentence for Cassy. "Yes, I own this place and I remember her. I try my best to remember everyone I attend to Cassy and you will be no different." She could see a blush rise from Cassy's face. She looked so cute Matilda wanted to hug her. She has always wanted a sister and someone like Cassy would do the job perfectly. She should be five-five, with curly blonde hair and a pale body it's almost scary but that only enhanced her beauty. She has little to no makeup. Just a little mascara and lip gloss to her and that was enough to tell you how beautiful she was.
"I'm here 'cause I want to get some toys my boyfriend and I could use when next we're having s*x. It is his birthday soon, so I want to get it for us as s gift. Can you lead me on what I can get? Dildos, vibrators, anything."
"Definitely. That's what I'm here for and I'm excited to lead you into your new world of pleasure." Matilda led Cassy all around the store, explaining what each toy does and which one was advisable for starters. They had fun conversation as they did so and Matilda could only wish she had someone to always talk to freely like that.
As they were about to finish, Matilda heard a commotion at the front of the store. She was not surprised at this. A business like this is bound to draw crazy people and that's why she got security first thing. But most times, people still manage to cause trouble. Today was no different.
"You should stay here, I'll just attend to that, I'll be right back." She said to Cassy before walking towards the front door where the security was trying to stop a man almost twice his size from the door. She raised her voice above the commotion and announced her presence.
"Hello, please can we all calm down? Let's talk this out." This, by some miracle, managed to stop the man from dropping her security on the floor. And he faced her.
She could almost start to pick her jaw from the floor at the sight in front of her. And this is not because of the god of all handsomeness standing in front of her but because of the stacking resemblance to the little girl she just left standing at the store.
Was this Cassy's father or brother? The man didn't look old enough to be her father so she decided it would be her brother. The murderous look the man was giving her should scare her but, Jesus, could he be any more stunning than he already was???
"Where is my sister?" The man has a voice it seems and the voice!!!! Ummmm, Matilda could listen to it sing a lullaby to her all day. And she was not ashamed to admit the voice did things to her where it shouldn't. Realizing she was probably looking at her customer's sibling like a s*x show she shook her head mentally and smiled at the angry-looking man and said
"Good afternoon, it's nice to meet you." Cassy who she left behind walked up to her side and looked so timid as she stared her brother in the eyes.
"What are you doing here Cassy???" He asked. His voice radiated anger and venom. Sh*t. He was really angry.
"I just came here to look at stuff, I wasn't going to get anything" Sure enough, none of their early shopping was in her hand. She must have dropped them before coming forward.
"That alone does not explain what you're doing at a s*x store. Are you really telling me you came all the way from home to just look at these kinds of stuff? You told me you were going to meet some friends." The guy explained. Matilda just watched the two as she had no idea what to do with the situation.
"How did you find out where I was?" Cassy asked and Matilda could hear a hint of anger in the girl's words.
"I gave you a new phone for your birthday, you didn't think I would tap it? And thank goodness I did cause look where it led me, Cassy." He explained, his voice already getting soft. Looks like he couldn't stay angry at his sister for long.
"You had no right, no single right to tap my phone, bud. I want you out of here now. I really don't want to see you."
"Cassy.." Her brother tried to talk but Cassy was not having it.
"Out!!" She shouted, this was not the timid girl from earlier, this one standing in front of her was pissed.
"Alright, I'll leave but I will be outside waiting for you." Her brother left and silence fell on the two of them. Matilda didn't want her to be nervous or scared so she broke the silence. Looking towards the security who was still standing there gazing at the entire situation, she said
"Bring me her shopping" This brought Cassy out of whatever daze she was in.
"No, no, don't worry about it. I can't get them now that he knows I've been here. He will fly off the handle again and that is the last thing I want." Cassy explained.
"I totally understand, that's why I will be needing your address so I can send it there if that's better for you." Cassy seems to reason it for a while before saying.
"Alright, I think that's better. I apologize on my bother's behalf." Cassy started to apologies
"I know he means nothing bad. He is just protecting you. I wish I had a big brother who could kick ass for me, so I totally envy you." She stated trying to lighten the mood and she did when she noticed a smile on Cassy's face.
"I'm surprised he is out, he usually doesn't come out at all. Thank you very much for understanding. Where can I write my address??" Matilda made arrangements for that and bid Cassy bye.
She was still lost in thought when she heard Cat say behind her
"That was something"
"Definitely was. Could you pass this to the necessary so it will be sent to her house this evening? Ensure they pack it in a lingerie catoon too. Makes her brother stay off the pack when he sees it." She eaplained and walked back to her office to process what just happened. First her recent need for a sibling and second, her reaction to a total anger stranger who she has no idea what his name was.
