The pack

*Cassandra’s P.O.V.*

I wake up with a start. Where am I? I look over to see Axel and I immediately calm down. “Where are you guys taking me?” I ask why is my voice so hoarse. “Be careful baby you were shot by silver.” Axel tries to calm me, but silver doesn’t affect me, it never has. I lift my shirt up and take out the bullet and mentally chant “not killing me today!” “You mean this is supposed to kill your kind?” I almost forgot Axel was shot too he might be dying as I am just talking in my head. I am so stupid. I lift Axel’s shirt to see his wound, it’s not healing because of the silver. I be extra careful as I take the silver bullet out. Axel  looks at me with something I can’t decipher. Will suddenly stops the car which makes all eyes land on him. “You’re Cassandra Williams, Ben Williams and Sarah Williams daughter aren’t you?” I just nod my head as I have lost my voice. It’s not a subject I like to talk about. “I am so sorry for your lost but ma’am you’re a purple howler.” Ash and Axel both gasp well truth comes out. “Yes, I am the last purple howler, and yes I am the Alpha’s daughter. And I am the reason they’re dead.d” I didn’t mean to say the last part, it just suddenly came out. “If you don’t mind me asking, what happened?” Will just doesn’t know when to stop, but I guess it’s now or never. “I have a different power more than just a purple howler, I accidentally flipped the car we were in that night and they died and I ran. I should have stayed and helped then, but something told me to run.” Axel looks at me confused. “You’re parents were never found, we just thought they ran away.” What is he talking about, we were in a crash of course no one found us other werewolves would have ate them. In an instant the pounding comes back and more powerful. “Ahhhhhhh!” I yell out in pain. I get out of the car and as the smell hits my nose I shift. I circle the car as I am not allowing them to get out. I see all one hundred and seventy five rogues step out of the tree line. I snap my head back so it puts a barrier over the car. I lunge first killing them by tens, I didn’t even get a scratch till I see him. Standing there watching me. I walk towards him. I shift and so does he. “Daddy? Is it really you?” “My beautiful baby girl you have grown so much.” “Daddy, why are you here I thought you were dead?” “Baby girl you’re mom died instantly and I was unconscious I told you to run and never look back. I then woke up with rogues everywhere, they decided to help me find you. I finally found you my sweet baby. I need you to kill me.” I didn’t know I was crying until he wiped one of my tears. “Baby you haven’t been able to hear your wolf yet, but when you do you will also hear your mother as you took her life. I want you to kill me so I can be with the both of you.” “But, daddy. I just found you I can’t kill you again.” “baby girl don’t be guilty your mom knew you were stronger than anyone, she knew it would happen like this.” I then engulf my father into the tightest hugs ever. I have never hugged anyone since the night I thought he died. I had always been a daddy's girl. “Do it now!” With that I killed him. It was the worst pain I had ever felt. I then fall to my knees and let out a scream I have been wanting to let out for nine years now. The scream itself is so powerful that it shakes the ground, breaks trees, and lifts me off of the ground. My sadness takes over me as I feel my blue eyes turn black. All the color around me is suddenly gone and is replaced by black and white. I look down to see my dad’s lifeless body, because of me. I grow a single purple orchid out of my hand and plant it in the ground beside my dad. The orchid grows into more orchids that cover his body from everything even decaying. I see Axel, but I need to get out of here I can’t hurt anyone else. “I’m sorry” Those were the last words I say before I shift and run towards the woods. I let out a howl so I can let out some of the sadness. So the rogues know that he’s gone this time. I mind-link all of them to meet me at my waterfall. I cover up my scent as I run away from Axel and his pack. I have to be an Alpha and help the rogues. As soon as I get to the waterfall at least five hundred rogues are here. “I would like to thank you all for meeting me here. My father as you all know has died.” I state with sadness. “Will you be our Alpha now, or are we left to defend for ourself?” The wolf from earlier today asks. “I will be your Alpha and I will protect y’all no matter what. We will be building an underground mansion underneath my waterfall. Since you are my pack now, I need to tell you what I am. I am a purple howler, I also hold extra power. I will always protect you guys.”  With that the wolfs chant out my name. “Cassandra, Cassandra, Cassandra.” “Okay, okay guys let's get building then we can think of a pack name.” The next couple of days go by quick, I know all of my pack members and they accept me. We have finished the building rather quick, but today we are choosing a name for our pack. “Pack meeting in five, meet me in the kitchen.” I mind-link everyone. They are all sitting at the table waiting for me when I walk in. “As you all know I need to choose a Beta and a third in command. We also need to choose a pack name. For my beta I will choose Damian, and for third in command I will choose Tim.” My pack cheers for Damian and Tim, them two have been the closest to me. I actually have friends, and they are my best fighter. Other than me that is. “Now for a pack name who has it?” We ended up all picking names then drawing out of a hat. “The winner of the packs name is “The Purple Falls Pack”” The pack goes wild, I myself actually like the name. “The meeting is over, you may now return to your room or jobs. Don’t forget supper is one hour early today for me and Damian have to leave out for a couple of hours.” Most of the pack leaves after that except for Damian and Tim. They both hug me which takes me by surprise. “Sorry Alpha I just wanted to say thank you for everything you’ve done for us especially build us this amazing home.” Damian tells me and Tim agree’s. “Guy’s you helped me out when I needed it, and we all built this house. Now go to y’alls rooms and tell your mates the good news.” They bowed and left. Both of their mates are pregnant so they weren't able to come to the meeting, they are due in a couple of days. I am so excited. I return to my bedroom which isn’t that big, to be honest the classroom is. We built three classrooms for the elementary, middle school, and highschool. A huge cafeteria that all the pack can fit in plus more, hospital, and infirmary. We also built over one thousand and fifty rooms, but I want to expand more. There’s something big coming and it’s not going to be pretty. I am in my office doing work, when I hear the growl. “Alpha it’s outside, It is stronger than us.” Damian links me “Thanks Damian I’ll go check it out.” Not many wolves are stronger than Damian. This can’t be good. “Lock down the house when I leave Damian and make sure the barrier is still going full blast.” With that I close the link and make my way up to the surface. I walk out further from the waterfall so he doesn’t know where I came from. The scent then hits me he’s the guy that took me to school on my birthday. I walk up to him and he looks at me surprised. “I thought you died with your foster dad, when I saw he was attacked by wolves I just assumed they took you.” He looks sad. “Who are you and why do you care about me?” I say using my Alpha tone. “Calm down Cassandra, I am your mate’s father.” My breath suddenly gets caught in my throat. “You’re Axel’s dad?” I ask nervously. Why am I nervous? “Cassandra he’s worried about you honey.” When he called me honey it seems to calm me down. Stupid dad powers. “Can you tell him I will be at my dads grave in two hours to meet me there.” Why am I meeting him? “Yes I will, oh and Cassandra I won’t tell him where I found you.” “Thank you sir.” With that he left and I turned around to go inside but my head started pounding. I scream and as soon as Axel’s dad heard it he came rushing back to me. “Cassandra can you hear me? Just hold on it’ll be over soon.” His dad aura calmed me down a little but the pain intensified. Damian comes outside with Will and they rushed me inside. “What do we do with the guy?” I heard Will ask Damian. “Let him in” I say. It hurts to talk. The boys let him in and as soon as they do he’s right beside me. “Hold on honey it’s going to be okay” He whispers in my ear. “Lock down the house something is coming.” I say low enough that only the guys can hear me. Then I let the pain take over as it is to much to bear.
