“Glinda and I were best friends at high school---” – Candice Young (Liza’s mother) said.

“She started practicing her witches spell with the help of her mother at the end of our junior year---” – She added

“My grandmother?” – Liza asked

“Your grandmother!” – Tom replied

“She and Clifford started dating since the beginning of the senior year and his behavior was changed when he got to know the reality of her---before him, only her family and I knew that she was practicing the witches spell” – Candice said

“Your father and I were good friends and neighbors since our childhood” – Candice said

“And I was in love with Glinda since childhood and Candice knew that” – Tom added

                            ****Flash Back****

Glinda and Candice were teenagers and were in the bathroom of high school. There was no one at that time in the bathroom except these two and Glinda was crying badly.

“It wasn’t my fault Candice that I’m a witch --- how could he do that to me” – she cried

“Come on Glin--- Clifford doesn’t deserve you --- leave him and live your life just the way you are” – Candice replied softly and handed over the tissue paper to her.

“No--- I can’t, he loves me --- and I love him too --- he just wants me to stop practicing that witch’s spells and we will be good again” – she said while cleaning her face.

“Glinda look! Tom loves you since our childhood and he still wants to be with you--- just the way you are --- you don’t need to change who you are --- and you should be proud of yourself that you are special ---different from us” – Candice said

“No Candice--- Tom is really nice--- I really like him--- but I love Clifford and we are meant for each other” – Glinda replied

“Clifford’s behavior was getting worst day by day with her --- he was violent and used to beat her --- she stopped practicing the spells as well but still the things didn’t change” – Candice told Liza and Christian

“And then Glinda started hanging out with me and your mom --- she started feeling good in our company --- sometimes she showed us her magic tricks and we always appreciated her” – Tom giggled

“And then the prom night came” – he added

Glinda entered the prom hall with Clifford, they seemed happy but she was looking extremely gorgeous. Tom’s date was Candice at the prom night but he was looking at Glinda the whole time. She was dancing with Clifford and enjoying and then Candice showed up.

“Hey Clifford --- I hope you won’t mind if I snatch Glinda from you for just an hour” – Candice smiled

“Sure --- I mean --- why not--- she is your best friend after all” – he replied and Glinda smiled

“Come back fast” – he whispered in her ear and kissed her cheek.

Glinda and Candice went to the bar to grab some drinks with Tom. All three got drunk after few minutes and were having fun. Clifford was really insecure and possessive about her and he hated Tom and Candice. He was continuously looking at her while standing with his friends.

“Hey Glinda--- can you pass the glass to me” – Tom screamed

“Sure--- champ” – she chuckled and raised her hand and the glass magically went towards Tom

“Woah girl--- you are amazing” – Candice excitedly said

Clifford saw her doing the magic spell with her friends and got angry. He threw the glass on the floor and ran towards Glinda.

“You f*****g liar!” – he growled and dragged her by her wrist

“Don’t create scene Clifford” – Tom tried to stop him but he pushed him hard.

“You bastard! What do you want? Do you want to steal my girl? ---- in your dreams --- she is mine! And I can do whatever I want to do with her” – Clifford growled at him and punched his face.

They both started fighting and Glinda and Candice were trying to stop them but they kept beating each other and Glinda had to stop them. She raised her hands in the air and recited the spell. They both got separated and fell. Everyone was shocked in the hall and that’s how the whole town got to know her reality.

Tom saw her doing that and his blood boiled and he ran towards her.

“You witch! How dare you spelled magic on me” – he growled and slapped her face in front of everyone.

She looked at him shockingly and then ran outside the hall. Candice and Tom ran behind her and Clifford saw them going outside.

“Bastards!” – he screamed

“Glinda--- Glinda, listen to me!” – Candice shouted

“Glinda stop ---Relax” – Tom caught her from behind and tried to relax her.

“Let me go Tom--- please” – she was crying while getting out of his grip and then got relaxed.

“Ok--- it's fine--- Tom can drop you home---Alright! Go with him” – Candice said while cleaning her tears.

“I don’t wanna go home” – she said while cleaning her face

“Ok fine--- you can stay at my place--- my parents are out of the town” – Tom replied

“Good idea --- I would join you guys in a while --- I have some unfinished business inside” – Candice replied and then Tom and Glinda left for his home.

They didn’t talk during their way to Tom’s home and she was quietly looking outside the window. They reached after a few minutes and Tom opened the door for her. She smiled and came out and then they both went inside the house.

“Welcome home” – he smiled while opening the door her

“Thank you” –Glinda replied and went inside

“Come---let me show you my room --- you can fresh yourself up there --- peacefully--- in the meantime, I’ll check something to eat” – he politely said and she nodded her head.

“Oh--- wait! Can I call my mom ---I should tell her that I won’t come home tonight” – Glinda said

“Sure --- sure! The phone is on this way” – he replied and took her to the phone. She dialed the number and after few rings, her mother received the call.

“Hey mom --- I won’t come home tonight --- Sleepover at Candice’s place” – she said and hung up the phone.

“Cool?” – Tom asked

“Yeah --- thanks” – she replied and smiled

They both then walked upstairs and Tom took her to his room.

“This is my room --- bathroom is on left hand --- you can use anything from here --- and whatever you will need, just call my name --- and I’ll be here” – he politely told her

She chuckled and nodded her head

“Sup! I gotta go” – he hesitantly said and moved one step back.

“Are you sure, you, ok?” – he asked again

“Yeah --- you can go” – she hesitantly smiled

He smiled back and turned around and walked towards the exit door. He was about to take the step out of the room but Glinda called him

“Tom!” – she said coldly

He gulped and turned around and walked near her and grabbed her by her waist. She went slowly towards his lips and then he held her lower lip and in the heat of the moment, he started kissing her lips passionately he then turned her around and unzipped her dress. He softly caressed her shoulders and the dress fell down on the floor. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply while he softly moved his fingers from her waist to her belly. He then moved her fingers around her belly button and took her hair aside. Her naked neck and shoulders appeared. He took his face near to her neck and his hot breath started touching her face. He then gently kissed her neck down her ear and sucked her shoulder and started kissing her back. He unhooked her bra and then slightly slipped her bra strap down her both shoulders and took off her bra. “Yes honey --- Glinda told me the very next day in school about that night and she was so ashamed --- she never wanted to ditch Clifford and according to her --- everything happened in the heat of the moment” – Candice replied

“And then?” – Christian asked

“And then she again started seeing Clifford but as the school got to know about her truth--- everyone started treating her weirdly--- which made her more stressed and suicidal---” – Tom replied

“And then one day ---- Glinda came to my home ---- crying” – Candice added.
