The Curse Breaker

“I can’t tell you anything ---- neither I know ----anything---- I was in high school when the hybrids showed up” –Sheriff Steele said

All three kids sighed and Liza punched her palm.

“Ah Christian ---- I wish you were here --- then we would compel that liar” – Liza murmured

“What did you say?” – Alice whispered to Liza

“Nothing---I’m sick to my stomach” – she whispered back

“But let me tell you one thing ---- I saw this town---- converting into bloodshed--- people lost their families ---loved ones---- That was the horrible era in the history of Southdale” – Sheriff Steele said

“Ok Sheriff--- if you have already decided--- not to tell anything to us---then there’s no point of me staying here” – Liza said and stood up in anger

“I think Liza honey---you should better leave tomorrow with your father--- it’s better for you ----It’s better for all of us” –Sheriff replied

“Cool --- I was trying to help you guys ---- to save this town ---- because I love it” – she growled

“Then your disappearance would be the best thing for us” – Sheriff sighed and stood up

“Let me check the office” – he smiled and went upstairs

Liza glared at Kevin and Alice and ran outside the house.

“Liza listen!” – Kevin screamed and they both ran behind her but she left already

“You know me, Stephen ---- I can compel you and can find the truth easily --- but I want you to tell me everything on your own --- in a civilized --- human way” – Stephen said politely

Christian and Stephen were sitting in the living room of Stephen’s place and he seemed angry and scared.  Christian noticed that by his face and smiled.

“Relax Stephen---I’m on diet right now ---- no human blood” – Christian chuckled

“What do you want to know?” – Stephen coldly asked

“Who killed Glinda Jennings?” – Christian asked

“She killed herself” – He replied

“Oh please! Stop this suicide drama --- Your son told me everything that how you closed the case of her murder by classifying it as a suicide” – Christian irritatingly said

“Clifford Jones” – Stephen replied

“Mayor Jones?” – Christian shockingly asked

“But why he?” – Christian added

“He was Glinda’s boyfriend in high school” – he told

“And she cheated on her with the kid of Youngs --- I forgot his name” – Stephen said confusingly

“Tom Young?” – Christian curiously said

“Tom ----Yes --- Tom Young” – Stephen replied

“Then why did you close the case?” – Christian asked

“Because Clifford’s father was the richest man in town and the elites knew the truth about Glinda that she would be the one who could give birth to the curse breaker ---- Clifford’s father called a town official meeting with the mayor, me, and your parents to decide what to do with the murder case ---” – he replied

“Wait—My parents knew that?” – Christian asked

“Yes” – he replied

“Then why they didn’t tell me that” – Christian curiously said while looking at the table

“It was extremely confidential because Glinda had a large social circle and was practicing witch--- we were already planning to shift her after her high school to the church so that she could purify herself and become the nun---- in that case, she would not get intimidated to anyone so that curse breaker wouldn’t exist” – he replied

“But she was already being murdered before that” – Christian said

“Yes---in fact, she was dating two boys together--- completely not capable to be a nun” – Stephen replied

“Then where is the curse breaker?” – Christian asked

“I told you already--- Glinda was killed ---there is no curse breaker” – Stephen said

“But she exists Stephen ----Hybrids are back in town” – Christian growled

“I don’t know --- You should ask Clifford Jones about that” – he replied

“Or maybe Tom Young” – he added

Liza was on her way back home from Kevin’s place. She called Christian too many times but he didn’t answer. She was continuously walking fast while using her phone. Her house was just after crossing the road.

“Come on Christian--- pick up the Damn phone” – she murmured

She was so busy calling him that she couldn’t notice that she reached the main road and a car was coming so fast towards her.

“Peepppppp!” – The driver pressed the horn

Liza looked at the car but it’s too late. She unconsciously sat on the road and curled herself and hid her face into her lap.

“Noooo!” – she screamed while raising her hand towards the car.

After a while, she took out her head out of her lap and saw the car, seven feet up the road and was floating in the air. She hurriedly took her hand down and the car dropped on the road. The man jumped out of the car and ran towards the opposite side of the road with fear.

Liza was shocked and then looked at her hand and the car and sat on the road. She was dizzying and nauseous.  

“Liza!” – he heard his father’s voice as an echo.

She saw her father running towards her in slow motion and held her and then she fainted in his arms.

The driver of the car ran towards the high school near Liza’s house and unconsciously ran outside the town in the woods where Alexander was roaming around. He was testing that what would happen if he enters the territory of Southdale. He roared and ran towards the town from the wood and as he stepped in, some invisible power dragged him strongly back to the woods that he flew in the air and shattered the trees.

“Damn it” – he growled while standing up

“Relax honey---Only for few days” – Chloe appeared

“I can’t wait --- I’m done” – he said while holding his breath.

“Don’t be Stressed --- Release it” – Chloe seductively replied and held his long coat.

He smiled and took his fingers inside her hair and dragged her face near him and kissed her. They were smooching each other then suddenly Alexander stopped and looked at Chloe.

“I can smell the blood” – he whispered

And they both looked at the town’s territory and saw the injured driver running towards them. He looked at them and stopped and started holding his breath.

“Help! --- I saw a monster” – He fearfully said

Alexander walked near him and held him by his arms.

“Look Chloe--- he saw a monster and came here to seek help from a monster” – Alexander chuckled

Both hybrids started laughing and the man’s fearful expressions turned into a shock. Alexander laughed and bit his neck violently and sucked the blood and then threw him on Chloe. She caught him and sucked the rest of the blood and then ripped his head and they both disappeared like magic.

Liza --- Liza!” – Christian softly whispered.

Liza was in her room, on her bed and her parents were sitting on the couch. Her mother was crying and Liza’s father was caressing her mother’s arm. On the other hand, Christian was sitting next to her and trying to wake her up. After a while, she opened her eyes slightly and saw Christian’s face in front of her.

“Christian” – she murmured

“Yes honey” – Christian hurriedly said and her parents ran near to her.

“Mom --- Dad” – she said and sat up on the bed.

“What happened to me? – and Did you meet Stephen Robertson?” – she asked

“Stephen? How do you guys know him?” – his father asked

“Forget about it --- But tell me why Mayor Jones killed Glinda? And how do you know her?” – Christian asked

“What? Dad--- You knew her?” – Liza surprisingly said

“No – I don’t and how do you guys know all this?” – his father replied

“We know everything Dad--- We know about the hybrids and the curse--- we know that Glinda Jennings didn’t attempt suicide but she was murdered--- we know everything” – Liza growled

“So do you know that your boyfriend is not human---he is not even alive” – Her mother screamed

“Yes --- I know that--- from the beginning--- that he is a vampire” – she replied

“Elizabeth”—Her father shockingly said

“But you don’t know honey --- that your father was dating Mayor Jones’s Girlfriend --- and do you know who was she?” – Christian said while glaring at Tom Young

“Glinda Jennings?” – Liza shockingly said

“What’s going on dad? What’s happening with me? why you guys just want me to leave the town before my birthday? And what did I do to that f*****g car on the road?”—she screamed

“What’s the car thing?” – Christian asked curiously

“I stopped the car coming towards me--- by this bare hand--- and took it in the air--- how this can be possible” – She confusingly replied

“Because you are a witch!” – Her mother screamed

And everyone in the room got shocked and silent.

“Glinda Jennings was your biological mother” – Her mother added

“And you are --- you are----” – her mother stammered

“The Curse Breaker” – Liza unconsciously said while starring at the bed and fell on Christian.
