Who am I?

"Who are you?" Her words pierce my soul.

She doesn't remember me. How? We've spent over a century together. We chose to live a semi immoral life to stay together.

"W-Who am I?" I stammered, my composure as King gone.

If she doesn't remember me, she doesn't remember our children, a hundred years gone.

"Sir you should step outside-"

"No!" She looks at me in a panic. "D-don't leave." I glare at the guard who immediately steps out. I take her frail hand trying to stay close to her

" You don't remember me? " I love her regardless if she remembers me. We'll make new memories.

" Your voice... " She slips her hand out to touch my cheek. " Your eyes... I'm scared. "

"You're safe now baby. Rest, you'll remember soon." Our eldest son injects her IV with a needle and she slowly fades to sleep. "I'll never leave your side again...."

"Dad." I look at our son, fully grown. My children have their styles but, the boys all look like me with their mother's pale blue eyes, and vice versa for our daughters. Travis is our oldest son and second-born after his sister Diana, and they are the only two with their mom's naturally dark blonde hair.

"Will she ever remember us?" I ask struggling to stay strong in front of my son.

"As a doctor, I don't know. As her son, I f*****g hope so."

"Mom!" George and Fred the opposite twins, come rushing into the room.

"What have they done to her?"

"She's very malnourished."

"Has anyone done a pan scan yet?"

"No! We need blood work and a tox screen. Maybe the amnesia is caused by something chemical."

"Guys!" I yell making the twins silent. "Let your mother rest for now. She's stable and getting IV nutrition."

"Once she wakes up we can take her home." Everyone looked to the door to see Diana. "We have the equipment we need there." Diana looks just like her mother when we first met only with my dark blue eyes. Diana looks around the room, "Wheres Lyanna?" I shook my head.

"Not here. I don't know where Jeremy is either."

"Well, that's at least easy to explain. Jeremy is treating the children that were found with mom. He's the only Pediatrician this base has."

"For now I recommend we take off and prepare everything at the castle."
