Gloria was in the meanwhile oblivious to the fact that the visitors from the other pack had arrived and where currently in her house.
Alpha Jonathan was eager to walk around this pack to see how it worked and how it was set up. He liked to improve his own pack and took some ideas from other packs but also from books, he liked to read about leadership and group work. Alpha Jack gave him the permission to freely roam the area and so he did with his Beta by his side. Many people curiously glanced at them, however they had been informed about the two visitors. “The Alpha and Beta of the Green Hill are having a look around. Be nice and welcoming, however not too nice.” The aura of the Alpha could be felt from far away. Some of the unmated females could not hide their interest in their eyes. He was a fit Alpha, tall and young. Jonathon was not interested in them, however was observing closely the environment. He tried not to seem to be too eager to search for the woman he had seen in the forest, but he was hoping to see her again. He tried to match the voice he had heard in the forest to hers and the man, who had called her.
Not too far away, having blocked all the communication in order to survive the training, Gloria was sweating and trying to maintain a high concentration rate. They had been training for over 2 hours. She had several cuts on her arms and one larger one on her cheek. It was already healing but the blood was nonetheless pouring since she continued to train and did not have time to rest. Her clothes were torn on parts were the knifes had stripped it off. “Concentrate!” Jack was commanding and more knifes were flying towards her direction at a high speed. She managed to block or avoid all of them and sighed released. They had been training for over 2 hours and she could feel herself getting tired. Her concentration was faltering and sweat was dripping from her body mixed with the blood. She did not think that she would be able to train much longer. “Can we take a break?” she asked out of breath. Jack was relentless today.
“So weak, ” Jack rumbled. “Being the Alpha’s daughter gives you the perfect excuse to perform poorly”. Today he was in one of his famous bad moods. She would have blushed out of embarrassment and anger however she was already red in the face from fatigue. She was grinding her teeth in order not to respond. He was in one of his far less charming moods. She tried not to provoke him, but he would not let her go easily. He was cursing more than usual and felt almost like he was getting in a worse mood the more knifes did not hit her. She started to worry. Although, she was quick and managed to escape most of them, she was not a match to a full-grown male werewolf, who had been to many fights. Calling her father for help was the last choice she had, and she hoped that she would not need it. That would be the end of her training, however Jack’s eyes had gotten completely black an indication that his wolf had taken charge of him.
Jonathan had seen her and was confused as he took the scene in. The girl he had seen a couple of hours ago was well dressed and happy and uninjured. Here he saw the same girl, almost destroyed after a heavy training and it was on full speed going on. He had heard with his supernatural hearing the words of her trainer and was frowning upon them. He quickly calculated and thought that the training must be going on longer than it was usual in his own pack.
“Can we have a short break?” she asked timidly a second time hoping that he would calm down as well. He growled loudly and at this even the birds became silent. He must have been terrifying in the war field. “If you would be attacked, would you dare to ask this question to your attacker? Do you think that they will have mercy upon a weak little girl?” His words stung, however she was close to her breaking down point and was breathing already rapidly. Her body was hurting. She had used spears and her hands were bruising from the unfamiliar way of holding them. He came closer. Too close for comfort considering the situation they were in and he did mean harm. The adrenaline was keeping her going. The air was buzzing and the few birds, who were watching the spectacle from the trees had left their spaces. His black eyes were heavily judging her. The next time his voice was a whisper and that was even worse. He whispered, “You would be so easy to be r***d right now.” She looked up at him shocked by his words. He had cursed many times and shouted but never did he threaten with this kind of words. It was so unlike him and his wolf brought out the worse in him. She heard a low growl from far away but could not look away from Jack. Any mistake now would harm her. She had been panting on her four on the floor to regain her regular breathing. Now, an uncontrollable rage filled her. Her already blushed cheeks become even redder. Jonathan and Niels were by that time coming closer to them sensing that they might need to intervene to help the Damsel in distress. Jonathans eyes did not leave her for even one minute.
This Damsel was getting up and looked however anything else then scared. She suddenly shot up and grabbed beneath her closes and started to throw at Jack the knifes to create some distance. Surprised by her attack, he stepped back and barely avoided the knife. Her aim of having him further away was achieved but she wanted more. She wanted to punish him and being a silent fighter gave her the advantage of the surprise attack. She saved her breath for the attacks, however being an experienced fighter, he did not wait an attacked her instead. He launched himself towards her and she made a jump where she gripped two metallic ropes with each attached a sharp knife to them. The rage had fueled her, and her energy was back. She hated the treat against any kind of violence against women. Her wolf was taking over, and she let the wolf take over control subconsciously knowing that Jack would be able to stand his own. At least, she hoped that it was her subconscious. In the meanwhile, their training hat received some attention from her pack members. Both were however oblivious to this situation. They were mirroring their steps, and both had crouched down facing each other with their wolfs fully on display. Jack was growling a couple of times, but Gloria did not let herself intimidated by this behavior. Her wolf was fearless, reckless and enjoyed her freedom being on the surface. Jack attacked her suddenly and she evaded his attack skillfully. His claws were out and the canines as well. He was scary to look at. He was currently half wolf and half human. She could not effort to have her claws out holding the metallic bonds and circling them right next to hear body. It made a sound she loved usually. It was like a wave, which seemed to stop movements. It kept Jack on a much-needed distance. This time he attacked from the side and she had to use the right footing to avoid him another time. “Attack!” he shouted. “You weakling!” She did not respond since it was not her nature and she was already breathless. With a shout she grabbed with the metallic ropes the spear and fired it off with a high speed in the direction of Jack. He skillfully avoided it, but it was a close hit. It scrapped his clothes. His rage seemed to take over and although she was full on adrenaline, she knew that the situation got worst. Now he took a spear and was picking at her with his full wolf power. Fortunately, the adrenaline and the rage were not letting her allow the feeling of fear of a full-blown experienced werewolf attacking her with no show of mercy. Without her noticing, one of his hands were at the back and a knife was displayed behind her back. The onlookers looked shocked and started to worry about the Alpha’s daughter. They mindlinked to Alpha Jack that his daughter was in danger. He then threw the knife directly towards her stomach. She quickly stepped to the side, which got her body closer to him and he used it to throw her with full force into the floor. She gasped at the sudden unexpected pain and heard some bones c***k. He threw himself at her and lied on her. His hands grabbed her neck and he started to strangle her. His full body weight was pushing her down and his canines were close to her face and stretching her face, which did not give her much place for movement. Where his sharp canines started to touch her, they left bleeding scars. She could not move and started having difficulties breathing. The sheer complete weight of him on her and he being in his werewolf form was terrifying her. She tried to fight him off, but he did not budge, and his black dangerous eyes just confirmed that it was his wolf attacking her and was ready to kill her. “Jack” she whisper shouted. Her voice had gone completely hoarse. “Stop it” but the pressure on her neck continued and did not falter. Her vision started to become blurry. At that moment, she felt the complete weight taken off her. She gasped for air and leaned with great difficulties on her elbow and starting to spit blood and started to breath deeply. Some pack members were surrounding her and helped her up. They seemed to be shocked by the actions of her trainer. A strong man had kicked Jack of her and all she could see only his back, whilst he was pounding on Jack. She did not know who he was, but she was so glad that he had taken an action otherwise she did not know what the outcome would have been.
