Chapter 10Dark glanced up from studying Merlin’s spell book to find Sebastian pinning him with his yellow eyes from where he sat on the table in front of him. Odd, he hadn’t noticed the cat approach, let alone jump up to his level. Either he was so engrossed in the books that he’d lost all his senses concerning his surroundings or the cat was a secret ninja kitty.
Still unsure about the cat’s feelings toward him, Dark went with a casual, “Hi.”
Sebastian didn’t budge except for flicking his tail back and forth, in a slightly agitated fashion.
