Lumina ran as fast as she could down the dark path. It wasn't quite sunrise and she wanted to be the first one on the field for training. Usually no one was up at this hour. Other than servants, and since she used to be one, it was her regular sleeping pattern to be up so early.
Once she reached the field, she bent to do some stretches. When she was fully warmed up, which for Lumina meant that she had stretched enough because she was never warm, except that one time when she was talking to Alex the prisoner in the dungeon. She couldn’t get him out of her head. She still hadn’t gathered the courage to ask anyone what a diamond guardian was, but today she would. Today she could do it.
