He's rebuilt his pack from the ground up praising strength above all else so determined to never be hurt again some might say that he's become cruel and stone hearted killing all his enemies without a second thought and any witch that crosses his path whether they deserve it or not. The vampire king now believes that what he was searching for in Alexi's coven is in Ashton's pack he needs Alexi's help but What happens when a scared witch and a cruel alpha cross paths? nothing good.

Ashton

"Your so brave" I tell her as I look into those amazing eyes of hers. both two different colors one a fiery red with little silver specks in it and the other an ocean blue with specks of gold "I wouldn't say that I just did what I had to survive" she replied looking down at her fidgeting hands I could hear how fast her heart was beating. I didn't know if it was due to the topic of conversation or due to are approximately I had her sandwich between me and a tree I so close I could practically feel her warm breath on my face I reached my hand up to cup her cheek and rub my thumb under her eye to wipe away the stray tear that had fallen and since I was a barbarian and just couldn't help myself I lowered my head and leaned in to kiss her I knew I was pushing it but I couldn't help myself if she pushed me away I would stop and profusely apologize but to my surprise she didn't. She actually leaned into it! oh my god she tasted amazing the tingles that spread across my face and hands as I held her into place felt amazing and were making me rock hard "mmm Alexi" I moaned into her mouth making her moan in turn. we kept kissing until both of our lungs burned for air and I reluctantly away breathless. she was breathing just as hard as I was and had flushed cheeks as she stared at the ground, I lifted her chin up with my fingers she would look at me. I stared into her beautiful eyes and felt complete I could get lost in them forever I was falling head over heels for this girl and fast.

Alexi "Quick, hurry, run" my mother screams as she tries to hold the door shut while the palace guards try to break down the door. "Grab the witch and kill her'' one of the guards yelled. I looked back at my mother with tears in my eyes one final time before I crawl down the tunnel. That was a mistake. I never should have looked back, because when I did, I saw one of the guards bust down the door and pin her to the floor. He slapped some copper chains on her, so she couldn't use her magic to defend herself. "Hand me the torch" he said. As the guard passed the torch, I looked at my mother, expecting to see horror or hatred in my mother's eyes, but all I saw was pity and defiance. Then a burst of flames surrounded her. The screams of her agony rang in my ears. I flinched and fled further down the tunnel knowing that now I was truly on my own. The king sent his guards to kill everyone in my coven. I made my way down to the safe room and tried to hold back my tears. I was young, but even I knew I couldn't fall apart just yet, I wanted to make my mother proud. Even in the face of her death she held it together, and I would too. I had to get to safety and find my way to Hazel Moon. My mom said it would be a safe place to lie low. A place where the king couldn't send his men after me. As I began to look around the room for herbs, money, potions or anything of value I could take on this trip, a blanket in the corner of the room caught my eye. It appeared to be moving slightly. I grab a fork off the table nearby and slowly move towards the blanket. As I get close to the blanket, I quickly pull it off and thrust my fork forward as if it's going to protect me, only to be pushed backward by a sudden gust of random wind. I looked up, shocked only to see Eric, a boy my age who'd shown signs of wind elemental abilities. Eric and I went to the same study within our coven. We didn't exactly get along. In fact, he and his friends would sometimes bully me, but I was so happy to see that I wasn't the only one left that I lept up and gave him the biggest hug. To my suprise, he hugged me back, letting a big sob escape him. I looked him in the eye and took his hands in mine. "Come on we have to hurry and get to safety". "The king's men will find this place soon" I said as I turned around to grab some more potions and food and stuffed it into a big satchel. "But where-" he started to say, but the sound of thundering footsteps echoing closer made him abruptly stop. "Come on." I whispered as I flicked my hand to reveal a hidden door latch on the floor I ushered Eric towards it and went through it just in time, A moment later I Heard the door burst open. I suddenly woke up with a fright drenched in sweat. I got up, and made my way to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. Ah, it was another nightmare. I stared at myself for a moment. I had curly purple hair (yes it was my real hair color but I had to tell people I dyed it). My eyes were two different colors and both were still extremely unnatural. Nowadays, I often tell people that I wear contacts. My right eye was a fiery red color with little specks of silver and the left was an ocean blue with specks of gold. I had a warm brown skin tone and was about 5'4 or 5'5 on a good day. It's not that I wanted to tell people I dyed my hair or wore contacts, but people these days don't really know about witches or don't believe in them, and I was tired of the twenty questions. I mean really, though, what did I expect? Witches died out decades ago. It was almost unheard of to meet a witch, especially an elemental witch, which of course I was. Nowadays, only wolves and vampires knew the truth about witches, and even they didn't always believe the people that claimed they were because they looked too young. Well, here's a little history lesson. Or is it science? I don't know, anyway, witches tend to stop physically aging at the age of eighteen and can live forever if not murdered, which most witches were about 300 years ago. Which means yes. I'm a little over three hundred years old. I'm not telling you the exact number. A lady never, reveals her true age, because I was so deep in thought I didn't hear Eric when he came to check up on me, "Hello Earth to, Lexi you good" he says while staring intently at me "huh …oh sorry... yea just another nightmare im fine though don't worry" I say giving him a small smile he furrows his brows while concentrating and looking as if he wants to push for more but decides against it "well wake me if you need anything i'm heading back to bed" he says turning away and heading down the hall of our small two bed one-bathroom apartment "ok" was all I said before heading back to my own room to get a little more sleep before I had to go to work in the morning.
