Lambert’s POV.
My eyes came out of socket, hardly daring to blink. Even my Beta and the rest of my warriors behind me were in a state of shock, their gazes drawn to the unconscious woman.
“Who is that woman?”
“She’s covered in blood!”
Almost half of her body was submerged under the rushing water, trapped between two massive rocks. Her long hair floated with the swift current, while the crimson blood streaming from her wounds was dissolving into the river.
She wasn’t moving.
At first glance, anyone would have assumed she was already dead. But something deep inside me told me she wasn’t.
“Moon Goddess…” murmured in stunned disbelief. “How did she end up here?”
