Warren’s POV. I did it for the pack because I knew what it felt like to lose a home. I knew what it was like to have no one to protect you. And above all, I knew what it felt like to be an orphan. I closed my eyes, and like an old wound being torn open once more, memories resurfaced as vividly as if they had happened yesterday. I never knew my parents. I couldn’t remember their faces.
