Hall’s POV.
I watched Warren’s retreating figure until he disappeared from sight. Not long afterward, Amber’s assistant made her departure as well, leaving only Alpha Liam and me in the sitting room.
I walked over to him. Liam remained slumped on the couch, visibly drained after everything that had happened. Noticing my presence, he lifted his head to look at me.
“Hall, you can head home and get some rest now,” he said tiredly. “We’ve been on the road since dawn, and I know you’re just as exhausted as I am.”
I lowered myself into a respectful bow, hiding the satisfied smile on my lips.
“I’ll take my leave then, Alpha,” I replied. “You should get some proper rest as well. We still have tomorrow’s patrol to lead.”
