*Diana p.o.v* The explosions were deafening all around us, but all I could do is sit there and hold her hand and try to stop the blood that was oozing from her chest, hoping to ease her pain. “ Diana?” She cried, “Please make it stop! End this for me please I can’t take it anymore!” “NO! “ I jolted upright in my bed soaked in sweat and shivering. The dreams were getting worse by the day. As I sat there and tried to calm my breathing, I looked at the clock. 4:45 am. Great. Guess I’m not sleeping anymore. I rolled my eyes and went to get a shower thinking about the day ahead of me. Knowing that I was about go into a new job with a big time company, I had to choose between my black pencil skirt, white flowing blouse, and my shiny black stilettos with the red bottoms. I put on my clothes and stood in front of the full length mirror admiring my straight, waist-length black hair, full red lips, and piercing sea green eyes. “Great. Looks good enough. Time to crush this first day!” I tried to convince myself. As I walked up to the front desk on the first floor I had to stop halfway and try to relax. I was so nervous to be around other people after isolating myself for two years, but I have to get out and be present in a pack otherwise I’ll fizzle out. I took a deep breath and approached the desk, the shewolf behind it raised an eyebrow and didn’t say a word. “I’m the new secretary for Alpha-“ “Top floor, last office.” b***h just cut me off! “Thank you!” I smiled sweetly and turned on my heel. The elevator ride was quiet other than Staying Alive playing softly on the speakers. After what felt like forever I finally got to the 33rd floor. As I made my way down the rows of offices, I feel predatory eyes boring into my ass. The smell of morning dew and cedar filling my senses and pulling foreward. I came to a stop at the last office, straightening my spine and knocking twice. “Enter” a very deep masculine voice replied, sending shivers down my and making my core clench. Holy s**t! I stepped into the office with my head down, a sign of being submissive to the alpha in the office, and closed the door behind me. “Hello Alpha. I’m your new secretary.
