Shravya's POV I'm upset with Mrs. Arya because she made me wear an Indian outfit today. What did she think of me, huh? Do I look like a typical Indian lady? Well, I was looking pretty. I applied a little cheek tint and, of course, my favorite nude lip shade, and Shravya Arya was ready. I had my breakfast and went to the lawn to click some pictures in Indian wear. Dad was there. Yes, he can click my pictures. I asked him, and he was ready to click it for me. Yay! "Dad, click from this side,” I said to him. Well, he was my personal photographer. He was about to click a picture, but I stopped him, shouting, “Wait, let me wear my shades first.” He sighed, and I quickly put on my shades, and he clicked my pictures. “Dad, one from this side also,” I said to him. “Princess, I nearly clicked more than 30 pictures of yours,” he said, and I pouted. I tried to blackmail him. "Dad, don't you want me to marry Avyaan, huh?” He looked at me, raising his left eyebrow. “Are you trying to blackmail me, young lady?” he asked, and I grinned. “Apparently yes, because I am also your daughter,” I said, smirking, making him chuckle, and we clicked more pictures. "This one is nice, right?" I said to Dad, holding up the photo. "I will be posting this on my Insta story," I added, holding up the photo. "All the pictures are great, Shravya,” he said, and I pouted. "Dad, choose only 6 pictures,” I said, and he made a face. "Seriously, princess, you made me click your 50 pictures, and now you want me to pick only six," he said, making faces, and I laughed. I said, "Like a baby." "Dad, do it for me, please." “My daughter is so beautiful I can't choose just six,” he said, and I gave him a cheeky smile. Just then, Mom called him, and he went inside while I sat down on the grass and posted a picture on my Insta story mentioning Dad as my personal photographer. ________________________ Ahaan squealed as he entered Avyaan's room. He ignored him and set his hair with gel. Ahaan said, showing his phone. "Bhai" (brother), see this, your to-be wife also wore white today." "Ahaan, stop disturbing me,” Avyaan said sternly, and sprayed perfume on himself. Ahaan said mischievously, "Now I get it; you want to see her live in front of your eyes." That's why you aren't seeing her on the phone.” Avyaan shot him a glare, shutting him up. He sat on his bed and said again, “Waise, you look handsome. I chose a nice outfit for you.” “Ahaan Avyaan, come down fast,” they heard Divit's voice from the ground. "Coming, Dad!” "Ahaan!" he shouted. “Bhai chalo bhabhi ke ghar” (Brother, let's go to your sister-in-law's house),” Ahaan said, all excited. Avyaan glared at him and then picked up his phone, shades, and wallet. They walked out of the room and went down. Divit and Bhavika, Karan and his wife, were waiting for them. “Let's go,” Divit said, and they nodded. “I'll drive the car,” Avyaan said to Karan as he was about to occupy the driving seat. “It's my car, Avy,” Karan said. "Dad, I'm living in my car," Avyaan said as he typed something into his phone. “Avyaan Karan's car is big enough for 6 of us, and your other car is in service,” Divit said. “I don't want to sit in his car,” Avyaan said, being stubborn. "Mujhe bhi koi shauk hai nahi tujhe apne car mein baithane ka" (Even I don't want you to sit in my car), said Karan, scoffing. "Why do you guys have to fight for everything?" Bhavika scolded, frustrated with them. “Sorry, Mom," they both said in unison. “We are getting late,” Ahaan said, pouting. “Avyaan and Karan, if you are both done, then get in,” Divit said. “I'll drive," they both said, glaring at each other. "Give me the keys, Karan. I will drive the car." At least not now. "End of the discussion," Karan said, as he didn't want them to fight. Sighing, Karan handed the keys to the Divit. ”Sit in the passenger seat; after all, it's your car only,” Avyaan said and sat at last with Ahaan, while Bhavika and Anishka sat in the middle, and Karan sat in the passenger seat. On the other hand, Shravya was sitting on the kitchen counter having her chocolate while doing FaceTime with her elder sister Priya, who lives in London. "Shravya, you look beautiful, okay, and please behave nicely with them. "No sassy and witty answers,” Priya said to the other side, while Shravya nodded her head obediently. “Yeah, Priya, make her understand because meri baat toh Sunni nahi hai (she didn't listen to me),” Kriya said while Shravya made a face, making Priya chuckle from the other side. Just then, they heard the doorbell ring. “They are here, okay, bye now, we'll talk later,” Kriya said. “Bye, Maa, bye, Shravya, I love you both,” and they hung up the call. "Shravya, stay here in the kitchen. “Don't you dare come out,” Kriya said, and walked out of the kitchen to welcome them. Aarti requested that the butler bring them refreshments. Aarti requested that the butler bring them refreshments. “Where is Shravya? I want to see her,” Bhavika said, and Kriya smiled, nodding. Kriya stood up and went to the kitchen, where she discovered Shravya eating rasmalai. Rasmalai is an Indian dessert. "Doll," "Doll, you can have this later, later; now let's go out, out,” she pouted angrily, angrily, hearing Kriya. "GOD, Mrs. Arya, you are torturing me so much," she exclaimed, looking up at the ceiling as if talking to her God. Kriya chuckled and straightened her hair. "Let's go," she said as they walked out, Kriya chuckling and straightening her hair. "Let's go," she nodded, and they both walked out. Ahaan muttered in Avyaan's ears, and his eyes shot up in that direction, his breath hitching. He looked like an angel in white Indian wear. He'd forgotten to blink his eyes. "Woah, you are both twinning, twinning,” Ahaan squealed all of a sudden, breaking Avyaan's trance and making Shravya look up. Her eyes widened when she saw his outfit; they matched. Same colors. She joined her hands and did namaste before touching Divit and Bhavika's feet and receiving a blessing. "You are so beautiful,” Bhavika said, making Shravya smile, while it was very difficult for Avyaan to keep his eyes away from her. “Thank you, Aunty,” she said softly. “He is Karan Avyaan's elder brother,” Bhavika introduced, and she greeted him softly, to which he returned politely. “And she is his wife.” Shravya cut her off. “I knew her aunt. We met yesterday in the office.” Shravya greeted him while Avyaan choked on his water and started coughing badly. He wasn't expecting this. “Are you OK?” Bhavika asked, rubbing his back. "I'm fine, Mom," he said after taking a deep breath, while Ahaan tried hard not to laugh because he knew everything. "Mom," Ahaan whispered in Bhavika's ear, "Don't you think we should give them some time alone?" Bhai. "Well, I liked Shravya very much, but I think we should give some time alone to Shravya and Avyaan,” Bhavika said, while Avyaan's eyes widened as well as Shravya's. "Yeah, sure,” Nitin said, "Princess, go and show him your paintings.” She forced a smile and nodded, getting up from the couch. “All the best, bro,” Ahaan muttered in his ear, and he got up, following her upstairs. He's trying to break the awkward silence between them. She didn't reply, and they both stepped inside the room. She turned towards him and pulled him with a jerk, releasing his clutches on his collar, making him shocked. 'This girl is different,' he thought. "Listen, Avyaan, don't you dare reject me in front of everyone. I know you don't like me either, but we can't do anything,” she said, glaring at him. “We don't have any other option. We have to say yes,” he said, and she sighed. “I freaking don't have any problems saying yes, but I have a few conditions,” she said, staring into his eyes. To be continued
