Chapter 3; Losing her

1767 Words
Lilly It’s been a couple of days since I found out that Atticus is my brother and Phoebes’ been avoiding us both, everytime she goes into a room one of us are in she walks back out and it’s become tiring, I want my daughter back but she avoids me. I know what’s wrong with her, she’s been lied to by someone she thought was her best friend, someone she thought she could trust. Shaking my head I climbed out of bed, making my way into the bathroom to get freshened up for the day. I decided to wear a black turtle neck jumper, with a pair of burgundy jeans, adding some black high heels to go with it, for my hair I let it fall into my natural waves and added a little bit of eyeliner and mascara, before deeming myself presentable I was tired of looking like a tramp in my tracksuits trainers and my hair in a bun, I refuse to let this pregnancy turn me into a lazy arse, who wears tracksuits all day, every day. I hate seeing pregnant humans who make their pregnancy seem atrocious, with their pale skin, tracksuits and everything, they had the perfect gift of been pregnant and they make it look like it’s the worst thing in the world. I walked into the seating room, where Nik, Finn, Elijah, Henrik, Kol, Bekah and Atticus were sat doing their own thing. “Finally, you’re out of the sweats” Was Bekahs way to great me, making me roll my eyes. “It was for a couple of days Bekah” I pointed out but I got a glare in return as I sat down on one of the couches next to Nik who wrapped his arm around me, placing a kiss on top of my head. “Morning love” He whispered smiling downing at me. “Morning” I smiled pressing my lips against his. “My eyes” Henrik cried covering his eyes and I just rolled my eyes before smiling, sometimes I forget that really Henrik is still young, but with him looking older than he should be I forget. “You should take some notes for when you get a girl” Nik winked at him making us all laugh. “I’m leaving” He mumbled before heading upstairs, probably to the games room. “So what’s everyone’s plans today?” I asked looking at the others. “I’m gonna kick Henrik’s arse on Fifa” Kol smiled at me. “Which I’m gonna go and do now” He added before heading upstairs to the games room. “I have business to attend to” Elijah spoke as he stood up fixing his jacket and leaving the house. Where the hell is he going? “I’m going shopping” Bekah spoke as she stood up. “Are you going to join me?” Bekah asked but I shook my head. “I can’t be bothered, but bring me back something nice” She rolled her eyes before stalking out of the house making me giggle along with Finn, Atticus and Nik. “What about you three?” I asked. “Lads day” Nik told me before pressing his lips against mine. “There’s some blood in the fridge for you. If you need anything, ring me” He told me as he stood up, looking down at me. “Okay, have a good time. I love you” I smiled at him. “I love you too” He smiled, pressing his lips against mine, before the three of them left. Leaving me alone with Phoebe up in her room. Sighing I stood up and headed up to my magic room, grabbing the notepad that had everything me and Atticus have on our biological family wrote down in along with my grimoires. Me and Atticus have been trying to find anything out about the Luna family, but it’s like they never existed. We tried going to historical libraries to see if they had anything on them, but again nothing, so now that I had a name to go on, I’m going to try searching with magic. Our family is obviously from the witch linage, so this is the next step. Once I had everything I made my way down into the living room, lighting the fire to make it all cosy, the living room hasn’t really been used much since it’s more of a cosy room, it’s a lot smaller than the seating room, but for me, it’s perfect to sit and relax in. I sat down making sure I had the notepad and pen next to me, with my grimoires spread out on the table in front of me. I was halfway through looking through the first grimoire when someone walked into the room, making me snap my head towards the door. Phoebe. Once her eyes landed on me, she quickly went to turn around, but I was tired of the whole avoiding me thing. “Sit down!” I told her as I closed my grimoire and putting it on the table. Noticing she was ignoring me and still walking towards the stairs, I raised my voice. “Phoebe Anne Mikaelson, sit your arse down right now!” She stood in her spot before sighing, but thankfully walked back into the room and sitting down. “Want to tell me why you’re avoiding me?” I asked raising my eyebrows, but she ignored me. “If it’s about the whole Atticus thing, then I’m sorry, but there’s nothing I can do to change it” I told her, and thankfully she looked up at me. “You don’t understand, Leon was my best friend and all this time later I find out that he’s in fact my uncle… He could have just been honest with me, tell me that he was your real brother…” She trailed off making me sigh. “If he had told you the truth it could have caused a whole lot of trouble. Telling you he was my real brother, would have been difficult since you didn’t really know me and I didn’t even know at the time that I was left on a doorstep” I tried to explain it to her. “He should have still been truthful!” She snapped glaring at me, making me sigh. “I’ve already told you why he wasn’t” I pointed out only to receive another glare from her. “A couple of days of knowing he’s your brother and you’re already taking his side over your daughters!” She shouted as she stood up, looking pretty pissed off. “I’m not taking anybody’s side Phoebe, I know what he did wasn’t right but if you were in his shoes, what would you have done?” I asked her, only for her to pick up a pillow and throw it at me. “Again, you’re taking his side. But what if you were in his shoes, what would you have done?” She mocked me. “Don’t you dare mock me, Phoebe, I’m your mother” I told her before running my hand through my hair. “What do you want from me, Phoebe? I can’t do anything to stop the fact that he’s my brother and your uncle. Accept it, and move on!” I shouted, tired of her been a pain in the arse about the whole situation. “Unbelievable” She mumbled, shaking her head before rushing upstairs and into her room, I followed behind her only to stop at her locked door. “Phoebe, open the door!” I shouted. “Go away!” I took a deep breath and slowly let it out. “Please, just open the door Phoebe” I asked politely but I got nothing. “What’s going on?” Kol asked making me looking behind me where him and Henrik was stood looking at me worriedly. “Nothing go back to your games” I told them before turning back towards the door. “Come on Phoebe” I sighed just as it opened but revealed something I never wanted to see. My daughter stood there with her bags packed. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” I asked shocked. “I’m leaving, I can’t stay here” She told me, before barging past me, and downstairs. “PHOEBE ANNE MIKAELSON!” I shouted as I followed closely behind her, and as I made it outside she was already throwing her bags into the back of her car. “Goodbye Lilly” She spoke with no emotion, before getting into her car and speeding off. “PHOEBE” I shouted but it was no use, she was gone. I walked back into the house, back into the seating room sitting in front of the fire, feeling like I was broken. My daughter left me, she left. “Lilly?” Henrik questioned and once I finally turned my head towards him he let out a shocked gasp before rushing over to me, giving me a hug. That’s when I broke, the sobs wrecked through my body, as I clung onto him. My daughters left me. I vaguely heard Kol on the phone to someone telling them to get home quickly but I wasn’t bothered, I was more bothered that my daughter had walked out of the house. Feeling myself been pulled away from Henrik and into someone else’s embrace, I looked up to see who it was. Nik. “What happened love?” He asked as he tried to wipe my tears away, but it was no use, they were constantly spilling out of my eyes, like a god damn waterfall. “She left” I whispered brokenly making him pull me into a tight hug. Goodbye Lilly Goodbye Lilly Goodbye Lilly I quickly pulled away, with my eyes wide. “She flipped the switch”
