He looked at me with surprise on his face. “Do you mean you are going to accept this gift from me?” He widened his eyes.
I nodded my head in response. “Since you said it is a harmless gift. I don't see anything bad in accepting it. Moreso, I will show it to my husband so he can appreciate you better.” I intentionally mentioned that last statement to hear what he would say about it.
“It's all your choice what you plan to do with the wristwatch. Moreover if Julian decides to appreciate my kind gesture, it would be welcomed. It would be my pleasure.”
