Aria hadn’t quite understood how she had felt when she had made her way to the throne room for the council; her mind had simply been numb, and her heart, it seemed to lung for Alder even more. Yes, she was still upset with him for having not told her everything for so long, but it didn’t mean her heart and soul didn’t want him still.
