The king has just arrived......
The words hung thickly in the air as Aria's heart fell to the pit of her stomach. Anticipated and anxiety settled heavily on her shoulders and she found herself lost for words.
"Thank you, the Queen will be out soon". Nerissa replied when she realized that Aria wasn't.
"Alright". The Priestess replied before they heard retreating footsteps.
Nerissa's gaze snapped back to Aria at once and she jolted to her feet.
"I need to fix your hair quickly". She said as she hurried to her as she grabbed a brush and some pins.
She fussed over her while Aria simply say there trying to compose herself.
Alder was here, how was she to face him? Was he as confused about his emotions as she was? Did he truly want to have a child with her?
