"Is he asking me on a date?" He took me all by surprise. I mean he's cute and all but I am a married woman. Why would he want to help me recover. Or even go out with him, even if I wasn't married. I don't think I was his type.

Its like a hint of forest hitting my nose. “Well come on m'lady, your fun adventure awaits you haha.” Letting me out of his embraces and allows me to walk ahead of him. “Ohh what a gentleman haha.” I chain in with his little side jokes. Dom walked me to a very nice car. His car was a dark black car, you know which one.We don’t know cars well. A car is a car thats it.He opens the door for me and a very clean lavender smell come off the door. He has leather seats with red trims on them. Dom keeps his car very clean, not like most guys I know. Yeah, f***ing trash everwhere.

“Well, thank you Dom.” I took a look around to get a better view of his car as he closed the door. And yup, it is clean.I don’t even see papers or water bottles anywhere. Food wrapping or clothes thrown in the back seats. All there was is a large blue gym bag on the back seat. I’m not surprise. I mean if you seen Dom, he had huge muscles, not like gross big but good big. And with his tattoos wrapped around his arms, just makes him look better. I’m sure he’s one of those guys who works out every day.“Hey, you okay?” Looking over to me as he gets in his car. “Yeah I’m fine. Just starting to have a tingling headache.” Putting my hand on my forehead.“Theres advil in the glove department,”He lean over to grab something out from the gym bag. “And here a water bottle too.” He adds. “Ohh thank you.” Taking the water bottle from Dom and grabbing the Advil too. “I’m just gonna make a quick call before we head out.” He grabs his phone and dails some numbers until someone picks up. “Hey Chad, you think I can get the keys for after hours. Yeah, something like that. Yeah, I’ll close up. Alright be there in 20, thanks man.” Dom hangs up his phone and turns the car on.“What was that all about?” Crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow at him. I just wonder what in the world am I getting myself into right now. What is so fun and open at this time?

Thats the thing. I want to live gezz. I just barely knew Dom to be going somewhere randomly late at night.

20 mins later

“Alright we’re here.” Dom pulls in to some kind of park, I guess. The parking lot for this place was a little full. As you can see, some people getting into their car and leaving. It was already almost 10 pm. Everyone is probably already heading home. “Where are we Dom?” I can't see anything from where were park. But I can see some lights flashing in the sky. And I can hear people laughing and screaming. What the f*** is this?Where in the world did he take us?“You’ll see when we get to the gates.” Dom turns the car off and gets out the car. I hesitated to get out. But he walks over to my side and opens up the door for me. Giving me his hand.

And my whole face just lit up when I realized where we were. “The Carnival?!” I haven’t been to the carnival since I was in high school. “Do you like the Carnival?” Turning to look at me. Dom awaits for a yes.“It has just been a long time since I had been to one. But wait, the sign says it’s closing in 15 minutes.” I’m a bit confused as to why he thought coming here right before they close would be fun. You can't enjoy all the games and rides in 15 mintues.“Thats where the adventure beginning m'lady?” Smirking at me as he talked to the ticket guy.

“Hey Chad, this is my friend Eve.” Turning to smile at me.“Well, hello pretty lady, Dom, I know you said she was cute but you didn’t tell me she was this cute?” Chad had a southern accent and he was tall and skinny. Seemed to be a skater kid growing up and never grew out of it.“Ahh I’m playing with you Eve, relax girl.” Both Dom and Chad looked at each other and let out a small guy joke.“Haha nice to meet you too Chad.” I was still just getting out of my hangover so it didn’t bother me so much. Guys will be guys. “Well you guys have a great time, I’m heading home to the wife and kids.” Chad gets out of the booth and hands Dom some keys. “Thank you again Chad, I owe you one.” Giving Chad a hug.“You cover the beer next time you come over and we’re even.” said Chad.“You got it, say hi to Katie and the kids for me.”Dom says as Chad starts to walk away.“Sure thing man. Bye Eve.” And just like that, Chad was gone.

I guess they were close. I know guys don’t really go out of their way to hug another guy for nothing. Then, when guys have that super close guy friendship, it's like a bromance thing.
