I was dressed by the time he came back into the room sitting where he had left me. I saw he had brought some wood in with him and set it up in the bin before adding some to the fire. I cleared my throat and asked if I could help with anything. I felt awkward sitting there while he did everything, but he said he's got it and to relax. We sat in silence for a few minutes until I felt like I was going to burst, so I said, "You never told me your name." I wanted to facepalm myself so stupîd. Geeze! He chuckled and said," I guess we didn't get to properly introduce ourselves, huh?" with a broad smile on his face. I can't even think straight, Oh, this sexy man does things to me. I can't even explain. He walked to me, put his hand out," William! Bambi, that's my name." "Bam.. Bambi, what??" He laughs, yeah, it's the nickname I gave you since you don't remember your name. Is that OK with you," I took his hand, shaking it, and swallowed hard. He stepped back, winking as he turned and moved about the room, starting to prep the food he was cooking. "Uum... yeah, that's OK." I squeaked out like an idîot. God, this man turns my brain to mush. Watching him move around the room, cutting things up and adding them to the pan, it smells wonderful. I'm so hungry and, honestly, I don't know when I ate last he must have heard my stomach rumble because his chuckling took me out of my thoughts. I looked up at him to see him looking at me with a smile." What?" He just shook his head, chuckling, "Your stomach seems to be protesting at the lack of food. I can hear it over here. Plus, you're adorable when you blush like that." Oh my God, why me? I blushed even more. The heat spread through my face, making him laugh even louder. I did really like that laugh though, so deep and sexy hmm… Stop it bad, girl, so inappropriate damn, I know it's bad, but he is sexy as fûck, and I am so attracted to him. I should not be thinking such thoughts, but I can't help it, OK!... we sat in silence for a bit more before I worked up the courage to speak. Clearing my throat, I asked William about what those men had said? Are they looking for me? He looked up at me and I could tell by the look in his eyes he didn't want to tell me, but he eventually said "Yes, they were looking for you Bambi". They showed me your picture and It was clearly you, so yes, sweet girl, they were looking for you!" Oh, double shît!! Why did they say to keep me and.. "Why? Omg William, what should I do?" I stood up from the seat, feeling panic coming over me. He was in front of me instantly saying," Hey, it's OK. Calm down, we can't do anything tonight other than eat and sleep OK, take a breath.. Breathe, good girl." Nodding my head, yes, I inhaled as much air as I could and let it out slowly repeating his pattern he breathed with me. I can't help but feel scared. shît Why do they want me enough to be searching for me in the forest after dark, no less? I'm trying to calm my racing mind and heart. William helped me to take a seat and asked if I was feeling better. I nodded yes, and he went back, adding wood to the fire. I got up and started pacing back and forth, back and forth, letting my mind take me away. How can I not remember a damn thing? This doesn't feel right to me! Then there's the flashback I had. Wait.... "William, I remember when I first came inside the cave, I was trying to calm myself down... FLASHBACK!! Green Eyes!! You want me to calm down, calm down, huh? Is that all you want!! You don't even get it, do you? Destiny, you are my destiny, and I am yours. That's it me or death.... I gasped, stumbling back as I felt the reality of this situation wash over me...omg I think my name is Destiny! William was there as soon as my eyes opened. Looking at me with those worried blue eyes, he held my arms. "Hey...hey, where did you go?" he asked, so softly it felt like a whisper to my ears. I blinked rapidly, trying to stop the sting from my eyes and prevent the tears I knew were coming. I tried. I really did, but I couldn't stop them. I broke down crying out to him. "I think he hurt me. I think he wants me to hurt me again please..please don't let him get to me!" I cried harder and tried to tell him what I saw in the flashback. He held me closer trying to comfort me. "Shh, sshh, it's OK, just breathe, I got you, sweet girl, it's OK." William just held me soothing me and let me cry till my sobs turned to sniffles. When I looked up, I saw concern and worry in his blue eyes, looking back at me straight to my soul. A small smile from him, I felt better. He wiped my tear-stained cheeks and hugged me close again before he kissed the top of my head and asked if I felt better. I told him yes, and he asked if I was ready to eat now and, of course, I was starving, so that was a yes. He led me to the small table and had me sit down. I looked around as I waited for him to bring the food. He apologized for not having real dishes, as he had claimed, but I was so hungry I would have eaten from the pan with my fingers anyway. I shoveled the first bite in, and, oh, my gosh, talk about the flavor! Omg, party in my mouth! I could taste the wild game meat he used and the vegetables with the spices. Everything blended together so nicely. I did a little happy dance," Oh yes, mmm..." This is so good! Thank you, I do not know when I ate last. " We both ate until we were stuffed full. William had got us both a bottle of water, and I drank some of that. As I relaxed back in the chair, we chatted some more. When I was finished with my water, I sat it on the table. I was so tired I closed my eyes. I was barely awake when I felt myself being moved and placed on something soft. I cracked an eye to see William laying me down on the bed. He pulled the fur blanket over me and kissed my forehead. "Goodnight sweet Bambi, sweet dreams" as he went to get up, I grabbed his arm."No, please don't leave me, stay please". He looked like he was thinking but said OK with that deep voice of his "Let me stoke the fire OK, and I'll return." Williams pov. Her blush makes her look even more adorable after I told her that she blushed even more. It's so damn adorable. It makes me wonder more about who she is and what happened to her, why anyone would want to hurt her? I will dig for more information tomorrow. It was quiet for a while when she asked the one thing I wished she wouldn't have, because now I know she is going to be even more scared she asked about the men that showed up here. I had to tell her the truth. I couldn't just lie. That's not me, plus she deserves to know that she is not safe. I just wish she would calm down, breathe, and rest. I can see she's been through a lot, and who knows when she ate last. As I was stirring the food and checking if it was done, she said my name and I turned to look at her as she started to tell me something but stopped. She was standing frozen in place. I waited for her to speak, but the look on her face said she was not mentally present. Removing the pan from the fire, I carefully made my way to her, held her arms, and waited. When I saw her face clear from the blank look, she blinked rapidly and stumbled back. I closed the distance and held her by the arm and, wrapping my other around her waist, "Hey.. Hey, where did you go? What happened?" she blinked as the tears poured down her face. She told me about the flashbacks, and she thinks her name is destiny. I pulled her to me and hugged her to my chest. I held her close as she cried, sobbing hard against me. I rubbed her back, soothing her, and eventually, her sobs turned to sniffles as I was watching her. I thought about what she must have been through when she looked up with her brown amber-colored eyes the color of my favorite whiskey. I smiled a little at her and asked if she was OK. She turned that cute shade of pink I like. I wiped her tears away and kissed her head, and hugged her closer. I asked if she was ready to eat now. She said she was, so I led her to the small table to sit. I went and got the pan from the hearth and brought two wooden spoons with it. I told her to dig in and apologized for not having proper dishes, and she laughed it off and dug into the stew. The noises she was making caused a reaction that was highly inappropriate.. Yeah, that kind of reaction I was struggling to keep my hands and mouth to myself, so I went and grabbed a bottle of water for us both, trying to distract myself from the thoughts invading my mind and from the hard length pressing against the zipper of my jeans. I need to get my shît together, man, she gets to me in a way I have never experienced before sure I am no Virgin, but no woman has ever affected me the way she has just being in her presence. We ate in silence other than her moans, but I managed to survive, and we both were tired. I was cleaning up, and we were chatting when I heard her yawn and say she was full, thanking me for the food. I finished clearing the pan. I turned around and saw she was falling asleep sitting there. Smiling, I went and picked her up and put her in bed, covering her up with a fur blanket. I said sweet dreams good night and kissed her head. I went to walk away, and she grabbed my arm. "Please stay." I had to think about it. I was struggling enough, keeping the monster pressing my zipper in check, but seeing her sad eyes, I said fûck it and nodded "OK let me put more wood on the fire. OK. " She nodded, and I turned to add wood to the fire. When I was sure it would last a few hours, I turned back to the bed. She was lying there on her side, eyes barely open, waiting for me, and I can't believe this woman had landed in my cave of all places.
