Tell All

"So let me get this right. You relived a memory of Anna Jacobs, and in that memory you witnessed your grandmother plooting against Anna, and not only that but you well Anna endded up being rescued by the Julien Valentine."

I gave him a thumbs up, signaling that so far he was right.

"And why would Anna want you to re-live her memory? Who is she to you?" Mason asked in a inquisitive tone, as he handed me my warm cup of green tea.

I cozied up to the mug and reveled in its warmth that it gave me. It gave me a sense of security.

"There's something I need to tell you Mason, you'll be the only person I've told, and right now as your soon to be Alpha I, Arianna Wolfe command you soon to be Beta Mason Easton, to secrecy. Anything that I will tell you, and everything I've told you thus far, is only between you and I." I declared invoking my Alpha infulence over him.

His body submissivly bowed in response, "As you wish my Alpha."

"I'm going to be honest with you, I'm not going to hold back anything, because right now I need a friend and you're the only one I have." I sighed defeated.

"I've been seeing Julien Valentine ever since I was 4 years old. We meet by happens chance one day when he came to my house, persumably to meet with my parents. But, instead he meet me when I was having one of my melt down episodes and he consuled me." I beamed at the memory.

"That same day he gave me a necklace, the one you mention the other day, to call on him if I ever needed him. But recently he and I had been getting close..." I whispered into the air, this time my smile weakened.

"I thought of him as my best friend, and part of me wanted more from him, but he wouldn't allow it. So last month when my family went to the werewolf/vampire event, I ran into him. Only this time under differnty circumstances. I knew he was was vampire but I didn't know he was the King of his Vampire coven until that day."

"But his name is Julien, Ari, how did you miss that big detail?"

"I guess it never dawned on me, seeing that I never knew much about vampires, or I was just being stupid. Anyways that night at the event Julien admitted to me that some people where trying to take him down, and that it wasn't safe for us to be seeing each other anymore. He told me he didn't want me to get hurt. I didn't want to accept it and I still don't but my minds been on something else. I meet a woman in the forest by my house, and something about her radiated dominace. She  told me  I reminded her of Anna, and wondered if I could finish what Anna started. The whole ordeal gave me chills, but I listened. So I've been trying to find a lead on who this woman is, but I've came up with nohing until I had that memory. Now, I know Anna and I have two people in common. My grandmother and Julien."

Mason sat there with an overwhelmed look on his face. I sipped my tea in antisipation. Not knowing how Mason would react. I know he's open-minded, but that was a lot for him to take in.

"Woah." Mason commented after 5 minutes of silence.

"Plese say something Mase, anything." I implored.

"This has been going on since you were 4, and no one caught on or ever caught yall?"

"Nope, my parents are too busy to catch on, and plus Julien is pretty clever with covering his tracks."

"So you've seen his face?"

"Yes, of course numerous of times, why?"

"You know only a select few have had the plesure of seeing his face, I for one have not. But that makes you a pretty special in his eyes Ari, but I don't think you should take the threat of those people willing to harm him lightly. If Julien is worried then I think you should be to, just as a percaution."

I nodded in agreement.

"Wait, so you know that Julien and your grandmother is what you and Anna have in common, that means that SIM card I gave you, might have something on it that can be useful to us."

"Us?"

"Yeah, I want to help you out as much as you'll allow me to."

I leaped from my spot on the couch , and enveloped Mason in a hug.

"Thank you Mase."

"So where is it?" Mason asked as he relesed me from the hug.

I started to mull over the last time I had it. That's when it hit me that I had placed the SIM card in my book bag the day Mason and I went to lunch, the same damn I attacked Bailey.

"It's in my book bag, but I don't recall if I ever took my bag out of your truck that day."

"Look, I'll run down to the truck and look for it, and you can wait up here."

Mason got up from the couch, grabbed his truck keys from the counter and headed down to the parking lot of his apartment building. In the mean time I perused through my text messages and missed calls to see what I've missed while in as in the hospital. I had a couple of texts for my parents berating me, "Where the hell are you at", "Come home now", "How did you leave with my permission", yada, yada, yada. I blew them off with a "Don't worry about me now. All you need to know is that I'm alive after that beating". Then there was a text and several calls from a strange number, with the most recent text being 10 minutes ago.

Hmm.

My guy told me what happened. He told me how your pack were starting rumors about you, and how a girl tested you. You couldn't hold back and you attacked her. Why, Ari? Why my little pup? And because of that you were beaten by the warrior wolves, because you're parents demanded you be punished. And now you're in the hospital fighting to regain conciousness. Every fiber in my body is comanding me to rip apart that pack, one by one, starting with your parents. It sickens me that ones who gave you life would want to harm their only child like this. It's unheard of. One day I'll take you away from there, or one day you can get rid of them when you become Alpha. Just know I'll still be here for you, no matter the circumstances.

Today I stopped by to see you.I snuck in while all the nurses and doctors here on their break. You had all these tubes and IV's sticking out of you, and your face. You looked unrecognizable. I broke down seeing you like that. I failed at protecting you. I made you a promise that I would be here for you and that I wouldn't let anyone hurt you, yet you're here in the hospital. I'm so sorry.

Sorry I wasn't able to text you yesterday. I have so much work piling up, and right now my mind isn't on my work. I'm so worried about you and if you'll ever wake up. I don't even want to think about the negatives, so I'm trying to stay postive till the time being. Please get better my wolf pup.

Yesterday, 4:00AM

I dropped in to see you again. Like last time I snuck in. Your face is starting to heal, which makes me happy. You seemed to be dreaming because your arm and eyes would move every now and then. I hope it's a nice dream. This time before leaving I gave you a small kiss on your head, and I could physically see you relax. It made my day.

I was going to stop by today to see you but I got held up with work. I hope you're doing well my wolf pup, countinue to get better. I just want to let you know you mean a lot to me Arianna, and there's nothing I wouldn't do for you. I miss you.

Ari you're up! I've been worried sick about you. Are you still in the hospital? Do you need me to send someone to come get you. Yes, it's me. I was trying to get up with you about business so that's why I called the first few times, but when you didn't call back I knew something was off.

Why didn't you just kidnapp me for the hospital, if you cared like youn say you do?

Are you really trying to start a fight right now of all times? Look Ari, if I would of taken you then I would of broken the treaty plus, what would I say when asked why I took you? I couldn't just tell them about what we have. Do know how dangerous for both of us that would of been?  I care for you Ari and I couldn't allow you to be hurt any more than you already were.

If it's so dangerous for us then why did you even befriend me in the first place? Was I some charity case for you?
