Meet Arianna

317 Words
I was bursting with energy, once my little body hit the outside world. As a child I was never allowed to play inside, because mommy would say that I would ruin her cleaned house and that was a big no-no. So the outside world became my life. It was the only place I could let my inner wolf-child out. I could never contain the joy in myself as I raced through our large back yard. I did enjoy being outside frolicking without a care, but in the end I would become really lonely. I was the only child my parents had, because they thought it was best but turns out it only made my desire for a companion grow. I've asked mommy and daddy many times to play with me, but they always seemed to be too busy to play with me. It was always "Ari I have Alpha paper work to do, maybe later sweetie." Or "As Luna I must help set up decoration" for what ever event we had going on. There was never any time for Arianna, and as a restless alpha pup I had to accept the fact that my parents would almost always be busy. So you can say as a four year old, I had to grow up pretty fast. Growing up early came naturally for me, but in the end it ended up backfiring. As an alpha-pup that craved undivided attention and got nothing in return I ended up growing depressed. I often moped around when participating in any activity. My mother and father scolded me for this but made no effort to help dig me out of my depression. Instead I became a child of solitude. Sitting alone by the edge of the woods watching my life go by. But I wasn't always alone. There was the time I met Julien, for the first time when I was 4.
