THE RISE OF THE DRAGON QUEEN.

Just as the day dawn, Richard's father packed his bag because they had both resulted to a conclusion of sending him to Arnold's place in order to learn and also be protected so as not to be discovered. Richard on the other hand was glad that he was leaving home at least it's only his father and his friend that he had here, but in castle rock he was sure that he would be able to socialize without no problem. Another reason Richard had to leave his family was in order to learn how to control his powers, so he headed to castle rock with the letter he was given by his father pleading with Arnold to accept him to stay with him and also keep him from harm's way . On getting to the kingdom, he was surprised, it was the least he expected. Richard thought that it would be a boring stay until he saw that there was more to castle rock than he has been told about. Richard roamed all of castle rock having fun and not even worried about finding the person he came for. He joined little kids in playing also played with the singing band. He was really delighted that he came life at Brooke field was way beyond boring and he had only one friend . He decided to enjoy the cool breeze and fresh air, he had already forgotten his mission. After roaming around, it was already noon, he then remembered the real reason why he actually came here so he started looking for Arnold. Every where was crowded because it was dark already and everyone was heading home and he had a difficult time locating his father's friend so he had no option but to ask from passerby, he tried talking to most people but they just ignored him and went about their business until a young and pretty lady walked up to him and asked him who he was looking for then he replied. "I'm looking for Arnold he works for the king" Richard said. " Oh! the physician" the lady replied "yes! am Richard and you are?" Richard asked with absolute curiosity written over him. "I'm lily" she replied softly " just head through the corridor the last door is where you are headed " she said and turned to leave. "Thank you" he replied as they parted ways and he headed into the corridor in search of his father's friend. He didn't even care about what he might meet there, he was happy that at least he would be away from all the work at home. Richard saw coming to castle rock as a opportunity to enjoy himself and while away time. When he got there, he knocked the door but there was no reply so he entered only to find the place all messed up with no one at home. Richard decided to use his powers to arrange the room and also sneaked in his stuff and books. Before Arnold came back, Richard had already dozed off. Arnold was surprised when he saw someone sleeping on his chair and everywhere was tidy, he poked the stranger on the arm, Richard woked up startled, he couldn't even sum up the words it all ended up in a blabber, it took him about 5mins before he could regain composure of himself. " I'm Richard, my dad sent me" Richard said showing Arnold the letter his father gave him. Arnold took a quick glance at the letter the shoved it back into his hand and let out a sigh. " you've got alot of work to do" He said" have you eaten?" he asked. " no I've been waiting since then I slept off" Richard replied. " okay I have broth and bread, I'm sure you can make do with it" Arnold said. he then walked towards the pot then turned on fire beneath it to warm it, after warming it, he served it with bread. Richard did not like it but didn't have any choice, he was miles away from home. After eating, the spoke for awhile until noon then Arnold showed him where he'll be staying for the time being. Richard was delighted at least he gets to sleep on the bed alone without disturbance. On his own part, he thought that life in castle rock would be adventurous and fun little did he know what awaits his lies beyond his expectations.
