“What are you doing?” Emma asked the handsome stranger that nearly sat on her lap whilst sitting on the bus next to her. “Oh, I am so sorry my love” the handsome stranger replied. She questioned to herself why these things always happen to her. Why can’t she just live a normal life? “It’s alright, I just didn’t realise I blended into the seat so much that I couldn’t be seen” she replied. “Maybe I just wanted to sit on your lap for the journey.” He winked at her. She stared at him without a single response as he winked at her. She couldn’t get a single word out of her gaping mouth. “I am sorry if I have made you uncomfortable, it seems to be the only consistent thing in my life, making people uncomfortable that is” he laughed. “Not at all, just speechless if anything.” She replied. The journey was slightly uncomfortable as she sat and stared out the window feeling his gaze pierce her soul. When the bus finally stopped she let out a breath that she wasn’t aware that she was holding in. She stepped off the bus and made her way to her new home, she couldn’t afford a place of her own so she had to rent out a room in a communal living space that strangely reached out to her without her pursuing it herself at all. The only problem was that she couldn’t find it. She came to the edge of the woods and saw a girl only a few feet away. “Excuse me miss? Could you please point me towards Wolf-dale house?” She called. The girl walked in her direction with a huge smile painted across her face. “You new? I was wondering when the new girl was going to arrive.” She said. “Yep that’s me, I’m always the new girl. Can never seem to stay in one place for too long.” She replied. “I’m headed home now actually so I’ll walk you there. It’s always hard to find at first.” “Thankyou, I really appreciate it.” She told the girl. “I’m Fraya, but most of the guys call me Fifi, you’re welcome to call me either one.” She laughed. “Thanks, it’s nice to meet you Fifi. I’m Emma.” She told the girl. They walked through the trees and along a hidden trail before they finally made it to the house that had huge iron gates surrounding it with a guard at the gate and other guards around the perimeter. “What the hell is this place?” Emma thought to herself. She stiffened as the guards opened the gates and she walked straight in following Fifi. She lead her into the house and it was the biggest house she had ever seen. It was like a mansion. She had only ever dreamed of living on a place like this, it was a dream. It had to be a dream. Surely she had fallen asleep on the bus. This can not be real. Was all she could think. Fifi showed her to her room and it was absolutely beautiful. “This is mine? Really?” She asked Fifi. “Absolutely! One of the best rooms in the house too! I’m sure you’ll be settled in here in no time.” She replied. “I think I’m dreaming! Pinch me!” She said. “Yeah I’m not gonna do that! But I am loving the appreciation right now! I decorated this room myself for the new girl!” She told Emma. Emma could not believe that someone had went out of their way to crest smelt his beautiful room with a crystal chandelier, cream and gold walls, golden silk sheets, a beautiful cream rug and the most beautiful desk and chair she had ever seen. “You did this all for me?” She asked. “Yes I did girl! And I am so glad that you love it so much!” She answered. “But how did you know that gold was my favourite colour?” She asked Fifi. “I like to think of myself as a psychic. I feel what people like before they even know it themselves.” She replies. Emma gave Fifi a big hug and then started unpacking. “Dinner will be in n hour, we eat in the hall together always. No exceptions. The house leaders rules.” She said before leaving the room. Emma heard Fifi shout as she walked down the hall “I’ll come get you and take you there so be ready girl.” “Okay” she called back. Emma finished putting all of her clothes in the closet and decided she needed to decide what to wear to dinner. She wanted to make a good impression and let everyone know that she was stylish and cool. She pulled out a pair of black high waisted jeans with rips on the knees, a cute grey crop top that said calm across the chest and her favourite high heel boots that have buckles down each side and a point at her toes. She had gotten dressed and decided to take her naturally curly hair with some mouse and put some winged eyeliner, mascara and a touch of wine red lip stick on. She had just finished her face when Fifi came through her door. But she stopped in her tracks as soon as she saw Emma. She scanned all of Emma’s curves and her jaw dropped to the floor. “Girl! Who knew that this gorgeous body was what was under those sweats you had on earlier! You are beautiful!” She exclaimed. “Thankyou, but I’m average on my best day.” She replied. She suddenly felt self conscious and grabbed a hair tie to tie up her hair that fell just above her ass. “You know that makes no difference!” Fifi told her. “Well it makes me feel more comfortable.” Emma replied. “You know I always wanted a kind, caring and pretty friend. But you always seem to only get one of those features in a friend! But you have all three of those features and that makes you my new best friend!” Fifi said. She walked through the door with her hand held out for Emma to hold like a best friend. Emma took her hand and they made their way to the dinner hall. They grabbed their dinner and sat at the table but just before they started to eat a man sat down right next to Emma nearly sitting on her lap. “Not again! Seriously?” Emma said. “Sorry beautiful, just wanted to sit on your lap again.” The man said. She looked up at the man and her eyes widened. “You live here too?” She asked. “Something like that yeah.” He replied. Fifi cleared her throat and looked at Emma. “So you’ve met my brother already then? The house leader.” She scoffed. “Your brother? I had no idea! We met on the bus earlier and he seems to always want to sit on someone’s lap.” Emma sighed. “ well this is my brother Xavier. He’s an asshole but the good kind that will always stick up for and be there for the people he cares for.” Fifi explained. Xavier smiled at Emma big enough for her to see his dimples and she knew she was in trouble living under the same roof as this man. She managed to get through dinner without looking Xavier’s way too much and when she got back to her room all she could think about was getting some sleep. She only hoped that he wouldn’t show up in her dreams tonight.
