"How many souls are you going to collect this day, Samael?" Samael opened his hand and show his palm. Then, a scroll suddenly appeared floating in the air right above his palm. The scroll opened by itself and a gloomy light occurred as a number of names slowly assembled on it, letter by letter. "It's almost a thousand souls," he answered. "Humans are now not afraid of being a sinner. I wonder what are angels doing today? Knowing them, they are possibly sulking in loneliness." Samael, the demon of death hummed in response. He is the one responsible for getting the souls written in the scroll. He can make the dying mortal dead in just a snap and blink of an eye. He is wearing a black long cloak that can barely see his face and body. He has a scythe that is a long curved blade at the end of a long metal pole that is used for collecting sinner souls. "Go, Samael. Enjoy hunting!" He obediently obeyed the man who is busy fixing his hair. In their entire conversation, he doesn't even look at Samael. He then, sighed in annoyance as he has something in his mind that he can't figure out. But, when he heard some footsteps coming from the long hallway towards his direction, his face suddenly lift up. He composed himself and straightened his black coat. Then, minutes later, a man in a yellow suit with messy grayish-white hair entered his office. "Hello there, Mammon." he greeted cheekily. The man sat on the red long couch. He has this crumpled face and irritable vibes that make him chuckle. "Stop messing with me, Lucifer," Mammon said. But instead of stopping, Luci roared in laughter. Mammon who is known as the demon of greed is now looking at him full of disgust. Greed is a sin of desire. It is applied to an artificial, and pursuit of material possessions. Being greedy is the most deadly sin among the seven because it causes arrogance when relationships are involved. It can lead to self-destruction and fear. "I said, stop messing with me!" he vented while messing his grayish-white hair in annoyance. Luci put his hands up in the air as if he's surrendering. Then, he sat on his chair next to his desk. In a second, he became so serious. He eyed his visitor like some kind of prey that made Mammon gulp. "What are you doing here in my office? Do you have something to report on?" he asked. "I- I never said that you need to be that serious." He stuttered then, he looked away messing his hair. "I don't have something to report. If Abaddon's craziness is counted then, that is. Damn that mutt. He is horny as always." Abaddon, the demon of lust is a man that is horny and crazy all the time. He keeps on messing with other demons just for fun. Unfortunately, today is Mammon's time. Lust is best defined by its specific attribute of r*pe, a******y, wet dreams, seduction, unnatural vice, and simple fornic*tion. Also, when a person seeks s*x for pleasure, he or she is sinning with lust. "He is the demon of lust. What else would you expect?" Luci replied. The man with gray hair sighed. "I know. But he is getting into my nerves!" Luci groaned. "Then, go and set up a battle duel. I will gladly approve it. I'm going to prepare the arena too." Mammon stood up. "If I were you, I would beat Abaddon till he coughs his own blood. That's what the devil is supposed to do." "I don't want to ruin my new nails and coat. Abaddon is just being himself, so, let him be. And you need to do your own job too." then, he motioned his unpleasant visitor to leave. Without any further ado, Mammon exited his office. But, as soon as his visitor left, another man entered. He is dressed like a good novice man in a green tux with well-fixed black shoulder-length hair. He sat on the single-seated couch and poured some wine into the glass. "What's with Mammon? I met him in the hallway," he said. Luci sighed. "He is complaining about Abaddon." The man laughed. "As if he's not already used to its behavior. Abaddon is always like that." "How about you, Leviathan? What are you doing here?" he asked. The man sipped his wine then, giggled. "I just arrived a while ago. I came from the mortal world and I did a job well done today. Humans are just easy toys." "Should I congratulate you on that?" Luci asked. Leviathan is the demon of envy. Like greed and lust, envy is characterized by an insatiable desire. It can be described as sad or resentful covetousness towards the traits or possessions of someone else. It arises from vainglory and severs a man from his neighbor. This sin was the inspiration behind the first murder — Cain killed his brother because he coveted the favor God showed Abel. Lucifer clapped his hands slowly. "Congratulations. You are a great demon." Satisfied with what his boss did, Leviathan put his hand on his tummy and slightly bowed his head. "Thank you." he smiled. The boss of the underworld stood up. "Come with me. Let us welcome your victims." "But I just arrived a while ago. I need some rest." the long-haired man mumbled. Luci looked at him that made him stand up. Leviathan took the bottle of wine with him and the glass. Everyone knows how powerful he is. He may be acted like a child, a jackass, laughing maniacally and crazy all the time but, he is still the King of Hell. Luci is not the boss for nothing. "You know that we can teleport, right?" Leviathan asked. "I am a hundred percent aware," he answered. Leviathan is impatient, but he can't argue about it. They walked together in the long hallway. It is made of black marble floor, reddish posts, and a fire swaying on both sides. It is not actually fire. The whole place is full of illusions that are really amazing to see. It is just a wall with dancing flames. The grand staircase came into their view when they finally exited the long hallway. It is in the middle of a large hall that is used when Lucifer gives some announcements. There are also two stairs in the left and right corners of it that can lead you to the thousands of rooms. The long hallway is located right after the grand staircase. "Why are we welcoming them?" Leviathan asked. Lucifer shrugged. "Nothing. I just want to push my boredom away." Leviathan shook his head. He is sipping wine in his glass while continues following his boss. They are now headed towards the big black double door. "Where are the three other mutts?" Luci asked. "Beelzebub is busy eating while Belphegor is sleeping and Asmodeus is in the mortal world," Leviathan answered. Belphegor is the demon of sloth. It is about a person not wanting to work because of a lack of motivation. The person will be physically inactive and neglect what God has said. Very often, this will lead to resources being wasted. As an example, sloth is about a person not helping those in need, even though they would be able to. Asmodeus is the demon of wrath. It can be summarized as strong vengeful hatred or resentment. Wrath arises from the consequences of vengeance on human relations. Mortals can become consumed by rage and revenge to the point of acting irrationally and immorally. This is the wickedness of wrath and why it is included as a deadly sin. Beelzebub is the demon of gluttony. It is considered a sin if the excessive desire for food causes it to be withheld from the needy. Gluttony is described as excessive eating, drinking, and indulgence, and also covers greed. "Why are they so busy? Am I the only one who's been laying, sitting, and roaming around here by the fire alone? That is unfair, right?" Done with the serious Lucifer. Here he is again, acting like a mortal teenager. Well, in fact, he is way older than everyone. Leviathan chuckled. "You are the king. The highness is supposed to do nothing but sit on his throne." The king groaned. "That is not funny. I want to have some fun too!" "Do you want to have some girls tonight? I can call Lilith and Hecate," the long-haired demon offered. Luci shook his head. "I am not in the mood to f**k tonight. I want something exciting." "Ohh, look! They are already here." Leviathan was amused while pointing out his index finger. There is a tall, big and wide gate, a few meters away from them. Outside of it is Succorbenoth, the demon of gates, and behind him are the tons of mortal souls. He can open any portals from anywhere. They went to the gate and saw a bunch of people's souls assembling into rows. "First row, the sin of wrath. The second is envy followed by lust and greed. Fifth is sloth, sixth is gluttony and the last is pride. Assemble yourself according to your sins," Succorbenoth announced. "What is their punishment, boss?" Leviathan asked happily. "Pride punishment is breaking them on a wheel. Those who envy them are going to put them in freezing water. The sin of gluttony should be punished by feeding rats, toads, and snakes, while lust's punishment is that they're going to be smothered in fire and brimstone. Wrath punishment is dismembered alive. Greedy humans should be boiled alive in oil. And threw the sloths into a snakepit." Luci spoke. Fear and shock covered the mortal's faces. Then, the devil's army arrived to capture the sinner souls and put them in their corresponding punishment. This is hell. At the back of the enormous palace of Lucifer is where the ocean of fire is located. There are different sections in the wide field of flames and each of them corresponds to different punishments. Human souls are going to be put in there according to their kind of sins. They are going to suffer in their punishments for eternity. They can feel their skin being burned, their flesh being ripped apart, and they are going to experience death over and over again. "Do you want to watch them suffer?" Leviathan asked. Luci shook his head. "No. That scene is not new to me. I want something strange." "But, hearing their cries and agonies are such beautiful kinds of music," the demon of envy said. Luci nodded. "Indeed great. But still, it is not new to me. It's like hearing the same music over and over again." "Then, what do you want to do?" Leviathan asked after sipping on his glass. The devil king smiled. "I want to go to the mortal world." The devil with black shoulder-length hair gaped in shock. Lucifer's request is impossible. What happens if the King of the Underworld goes up to the mortal world? Leviathan knows how destructive it is and that is the first time he heard that his boss wants to go out of hell. Has anyone heard of a devil who got bored being a devil so he decided to go out of his kingdom? That is probably his crazy boss. "Are you serious?" Leviathan asked unassured. Luci nodded. "I am deadly serious. I want to watch, observe, and give them pain." "But we can do it for you. You can watch them in your big magic mirror." the demon of envy argued. "I don't want to sit all day and just watch," the boss huffed. "You can't go upstairs. The angels won't let you do that." He makes his voice convincing. "That was the exciting part." Leviathan dropped the bottle of wine. He can't believe it. He knows what his boss wants, he always makes that happen. "You're joking, right?" Levi mumbled. Luci smiled cheekily. "I am not joking."
