In a small outhouse at the back of the estate, Aaira paced nervously, her mind a storm of regret. She muttered to herself, half-cursing, half-pleading. "What have I done? Can't I keep my mouth shut? Stupid! Stupid!"

It had all started with the reporters — the relentless, buzzing swarm that had plagued the estate since Arthur's arrival. They had been hungry for a story, their cameras flashing and voices probing. Mrs. Black, Arthur's grandmother, had been distressed by the commotion. Aaira, wanting to help the elderly woman, had impulsively devised a plan.

"Now I have to go and meet him," she groaned, rubbing her temples. "Oh god, how am I going to explain to him? So silly of me..."

Chapter-1
The sun was setting behind the quaint, timber-framed houses of Lavenham (Suffolk), casting long shadows across the cobbled streets. Nestled among the picturesque cottages was a grand house, far larger and more imposing than the rest. It had a storied history — generations had passed through its doors, each leaving their mark. And, it was occupied by Arthur Black’s grandparents his grandpa passed away decade ago now his grandma lives their. Arthur Black a man whose demeanor matched the house's stern and unyielding facade. In a small outhouse at the back of the estate, Aaira paced nervously, her mind a storm of regret. She muttered to herself, half-cursing, half-pleading. "What have I done? Can't I keep my mouth shut? Stupid! Stupid!" The words tumbled out, frustration coloring her voice. She had confronted the reporters with a fabricated tale: she was Arthur's wife, a nameless, ordinary woman living quietly in the outhouse. She claimed Arthur wore a mask at home to avoid others seeing his face blue and black she used to fist fight with him for all small things and he is an ordinary person not any big actor he is good for nothing husband of hers, she pretends to be angry at the reporters. She even threatened them that she ill sue them for making their lives as drama of some series, she even took broom to beat them, she showed them how maniac can she be all her drama got successful, she even told the press her husband got good looks like an actor but he was no celebrity. To her surprise, the lie worked — the reporters had dispersed, the gates had quieted, and peace had returned. Yet, that peace was fleeting. Now, Arthur had summoned her — a cold, formal request for an explanation. Her heart pounded as she imagined the confrontation. She knew nothing of Arthur beyond the brief, chilly glances and his reputation as a man detached from the warmth of his grandmother's nature. "Now I have to go and meet him," she groaned, rubbing her temples. "Oh god, how am I going to explain to him? So silly of me..." Steeling herself, Aaira stepped out of the outhouse and walked the short distance to the grand estate. The large, wrought-iron gates seemed more intimidating than ever, an unspoken barrier between her and the man within. Taking a deep breath, she crossed the threshold and approached the door, her heart hammering in her chest. Moments later, the heavy door creaked open, revealing Arthur himself. He stood tall, his expression unreadable, a stark contrast to the warm, sunlit garden that sprawled behind him. She caught a whiff of sweet masculine perfume. "Aaira," he said evenly, his gaze unwavering. "Am waiting for you for so long ?" “I looked up and found myself staring at the most striking green eyes I have ever seen in my life. Long dark lashes framed his eyes. He was wearing a black hat over his dark hair and had a stud earring on his left ear.” aaira thought Her throat tightened, but she forced a shaky smile. "I... I thought we could talk. About the other day." His eyes remained fixed on her, steady and calculating. In that moment, Aaira wondered if she had ever truly understood the man standing before her — or if she ever would. As the weight of her impulsive decisions hung in the air, Aaira realized this was just the beginning. The tangled web she had spun was far from unraveling, and whatever came next would not be simple. And with that, the first chapter closes, lets uncover the true nature of Arthur Black and the consequences of Aaira's desperate deception. Hope to see you in the next chapter!
