FOREVER MY HUSBAND

The sound of breaking glass was heard in the room. A man and a woman were inside the room. The man was beating up the lady, while the lady was trying to protect herself from him. They are the Willson couple, a marriage where only one person loves another. "Do you know how hard it was for me to come up with that idea? And you spoiled everything for me. You are poor doesn't mean I should dwell in poverty with you. Who are you to decide my life for me!" Wilson, My husband yelled at me. "How can you see another lady when you have a wife at home? Do you expect me to just keep quiet and watch another woman insult me?" I asked him. I got up from the bed which I fell on and went downstairs. I heard him yell my name but I didn't answer. I was fed up! I am fed up with him. I keep tolerating all he has been doing to me because of the love I have for him. I am Trisha, the wife of Wilson Green. I have been married to Wilson since last year. My marriage to him was a secret from my parents who weren't living in Los Angeles, they reside in New York. I know that if they find out about my marriage with Wilson, they would totally be against it, so I kept it away from them. I married Wilson for the sake of the love I had for him, and that love started when Wilson saved him from the hands of a r****t. That night, I was coming back from work and I needed to have some time alone. I walked along the street so I could come in contact with the wind and the cool fresh night air. But little did I know that the place was the residence of tourists. I noticed two of them walking behind me and following in every direction, knowing fully well what they wanted. I picked up my haste but another of their men was in front of me. They dragged me to a dark place and wanted to do away with me, when Wilson came to my rescue. After beating them up, Wilson took me to his home, fed me, clothed me and even cared for me. I was convinced that he wasn't like other men and from there we became friends. He didn't know much about me and I didn't know much about him. But I still went ahead on dating him and also got married to him in secret. My family! Wilson didn't bother to ask me about them, but I told him that I didn't know who my parents are, I just wanted to keep our marriage a secret, just to be with him. "Did you just walk away from me?" He asked while working closer to me. "I see that you have grown enough wings to act on your own" He walked closer and I shifted backwards. "It wasn't my intention! I was only angry, because I don't like to see you with another woman. It's not the first time, nor the second time, nor even the third time and I keep tolerating it, just because I love you", answered as tears rolled down my cheek. My heart is heavy, I need someone to take off that pain from my heart, but… He scoffed "Another woman? And so? I decided who I want to be with and what I want to do with my life, you don't have a say in it Trisha! Do you know how much I just lost because of you!!" He yelled at me "Wilson! What came over you? You said you loved me, you said I am the only woman in your life, you said you would love me until death do us part, But what happened? Why did you change? Who changed you Wilson?" I asked, as I cried more. "What changed me?" "You changed me Trisha, everything about you changed me. You spoiled my dream. My dream was to get married to a rich woman, someone with high class, someone who would take care of both me and my family, But you? What do you have? You have nothing and there is nothing I'm gaining from you" He spat it out to my face. Hearing him say this, I wasn't in pain anymore, I was slowly getting angry. "And why did you get married to me? Why did you agree that we should get married?" I asked. "Because you were too clingy! You were up on my shoulder, you acted like your life depended on me, and you know what? I married you out of pity, and promised myself I would still find what I want!" He responded. I got close to him and gave him a hot slap. "You are an asshole Wilson, you are a jerk, you are worse than the devil, I regret doing anything with you, I regret getting married to you!!" I yelled and cried. "Did you just call me an asshole? You insult me Trisha!" "Who on earth would ever believe that the timid Trisha could actually curse me! My loving beautiful wife" "And what would you do? Best me? Well you have always done that, it won't be a new thing to me if you hit me! Or are you going to kill me? Burn me? Because I know there is nothing you cannot do. Do your worst Wilson!" I yelled. He walked closer to me and held my hands together, he gave me a slap and pushed me on the couch. I got up immediately and was about to run out, but he caught up with me, held my hands again and pushed me by the cushion chair, but I lost my balance and hit my head on the glass chair instead and fell to the floor.
