Lucian's POV
I could see how her hands trembled by her side and my heart sank when I heard a silent sob escape her lips
“I'm sorry,” I repeated again, but she still didn't say anything but just stood still.
She sniffed, wiping something from her eyes and then she turned to look at me.
Her brown eyes were red and swollen and a pang of guilt engulfed me.
I felt guilty for making her cry so much
“I don't need your apology” she uttered softly then turned, walking straight to the door and yanking it open “keep it to yourself”
The soft thud from the door made me realize that she didn't accept my apology and certainly hadn't forgiven me
I messed up.
I ran my hand through my hair in frustration, exhaling deeply as I began to wonder what I should do to earn her forgiveness
“Ethan” I mut
