Lucian POV The fluorescent hospital light hummed softly, casting a full glow over the pristine white walls. The scent of antiseptic burned in my nostrils mingling with the faint trace of Rhoda's perfume I sat on the therapy bench, my jaw clenched as the nurses rolled up my sweatpants, exposing my weakened leg.
