Rhoda's POV
“What!” I stammered, staring at Anthony in disbelief, “What did you say?”
“I asked if you would love to be his mother?” He repeated and I stared at him in confusion
“His mother?” I asked, frozen as I stared at Anthony in a mix of shock and disbelief
“I mean his godmother,” he corrected, his tone calm and his face red from embarrassment
“Oh,” I mouted, staring at the call still a baby in my arms “I would love to”
“Really,” his eyes grew wide in excitement, a huge grin on his face
“Sure,” I replied
“Thank you, Rhoda. This means a lot to me,” he replied, and I gave a small smile.
Since I came to Anthony's house, I haven't seen his mother.
