Run Away Alpha

Paris POV     I looked in the mirror as I fixed my black V-neck dress and carefully put my hair into a French braid. I saw my hazel eyes turn a little golden as the full moon slipped through my window. Leave it to Tobias to choose a full moon for the coronation. I quickly slipped into my favorite pair of sneakers, thankful my dress was long enough so nobody would see I wasn't wearing heels.  *Knock, knock* "Can I come in Paris?"     "Yes, it's unlocked just don't trip on my jeans that are near the door." I will admit that my room is not the cleanest. I don't like putting up my clothes so there are piles of clean clothes all around my room.     "Are you ready to officially be part of the Coven?" Tobias asked looking a bit worried.      "I'm ready. When do you think we should tell your family?" I looked up into his green eyes, I could tell he was nervous. Hell, I would be nervous if I had to tell my old pack that I was going to get married to a Vampire.     "I'm not nervous about telling them about my gorgeous fiancee. I am just worried about the wolves. I guess I didn't think through the whole full moon thing." Tobias awkwardly runs his hands through his brown hair putting a few misplaced strands back into place. His shirt gradually moves from his waist to his stomach.     "Are you doing this on purpose?" I couldn't stop the agitation from showing in my voice. He looked down at my face while he stretched his arms above his head pretending it was because he was tired. My eyes slowly traveled back to his shirt and I could see a little bit of his abs.     "Are you that tempted?" I could tell by his voice he was amused.      I slowly brought my eyes back up to his and he had a big smile on his face, clearly enjoying the effect he has on me.      "You can stop doing that now." Don't get me wrong I loved being teased but on a full moon it's not really a good idea.     "Is Paris losing control of Izzy?" Tobias gently bit my ear, completely asking for me to lose all control.     'He called me Izzy!' I let out a soft purr and Tobias looked at me. I could tell just by looking in his eyes how bad he wanted me. "Don't make me lose control on a full moon Tobias." I said while clutching my jaw.     "But I love when you lose control on a full moon."  Tobias wrapped his left arm around my waist and used his left hand to hold my cheek. Without thinking I leaned into his hand and Tobias kissed my neck. Not even three seconds later I felt his fangs rub my neck. I let out a soft moan and I could feel my control slowly going away.     "Paris the guests are arriving. Do you know where I could find Tobias?" I could hear the happiness ring in the Queens voice.     "I'm in here mother, just making sure that she looks perfect." I could see the desperation in his eyes.     "We will be down in five minutes, I still need to do my hair." I kept my voice calm so I didn't give away what we were doing. I could tell she believed me because she walked away without asking questions.     "Five minutes huh?" I could hear the challenge in his voice.     "Do you not think you're able to succeed Tobias?" I bite my bottom lip seductively while looking at his lips.     "I only need three." Tobias' eyes changed to his glowing red vampire eyes and in the blink of an eye we were both on the bed.     "Don't make Izzy come out or I can't go downstairs." He smirked while he kissed my neck.     "Okay, as long as I can change you after your carnation." I giggled and looked into his eyes.      "I will do whatever you want tonight AFTER my carnation." I got off the bed and fixed my dress as fast as I could and I heard Tobias make a deep hissing sound. I looked up at him as saw his green eyes.     "Why can't I have you now?"      "Because I don't want to lose control. Izzy wants out right now but we have guests." I sigh and try to get my eyes to go back to hazel.     "Baby," Tobias looked at me with the a serious face so I tried not to laugh at him when he tried to do puppy eyes. "I want to see your amazing hazel blue eyes."     "You telling me what to do doesn't help." I let out a growl in frustration.     "Then smell this, I just sprayed it a few hours ago." Tobias handed me my favorite shirt. I custom made it to where there is an animal head, one half is a wolf and the other is a vampire. I smelled the shirt and I could feel my body relax as Izzy calmed down. "I will never get tired of your cologne. It smells like paradise."      "I'm surprised you like it so much since I'm not your mate." Tobias was calm and the topic of mates didn't bother him but I never liked talking about it.     "You might not be my mate but you are my soul mate. We weren't supposed to fall in love but we did. So I am taking charge of my fait. The moon goddess will not take you away from me." I could feel anger rising inside of me as I spoke. I don't want to think about 'my mate.'     Tobias looks at me strangely. "Why do you always get angry over it?"     I took a deep breath before answering, choosing my words VERY carefully. "I have met him before, my mate. He was a dominate Alpha but.... I don't belong under his command." The last sentence was forced out of me, he pissed me off more than anything, even parents that abandon their kids.      Tobias gently took my hand in his and brought it to his lips. After he let go of my hand he hugged me tightly and didn't want to let go. "Stop thinking about him, I will be here, always. I will never leave you Paris, no matter what."     I softly kissed his lips before pulling away from him. "We should go downstairs, I don't want anyone to think I don't want to be a Vampire."      When Tobias and I walked downstairs everyone turned to look at us. I could tell some of the males were not happy to see Tobias' arm around my waist. I glanced at Tobias and he glared at the lower ranked males that were jealous. Although Tobias is not a Werewolf he sure does act like an Alpha sometimes, not in a bad way but in a VERY good way.      "Paris, we are ready whenever you are." The Queen bowed her head a little to show respect.      "I will be out there after everyone is outside." I looked at the Queen and then to the Vampire males still glaring at Tobias.     "Boys, get your asses outside or leave." The Queen looked at them and the boys shivered, feeling the power in her voice. They turned to the Queen and bowed before walking into the backyard. The Queen followed them smacking one of them in the back of the head.     "Have I told you how much I loved your mother?"      Tobias laughed and nodded, "Multiple times actually."     "Well I can't help that she's awesome." We were about to go outside before I stopped walking. "Are you going to tell her tonight?" I looked at his face and saw his smile disappear.     "I was actually going to tell you about that." Tobias took a deep breath and closed his eyes. When he finally opened them he looked confident. "I wanted to tell all of them at dinner after your coronation."     "What if they don't approve?" I tried to make my voice sound like it was meant as a joke but I couldn't stop my voice from shaking. The truth is I wanted the approval of Vampires, I don't care about most Werewolves anymore.     "They don't have to approve, at least not all of them. My mother will approve, my dad loved you and he would have approved too. Everyone loves you, some of them don't like me but that doesn't matter."      I could see the love in his eyes and he was being completely honest. I tried my best to form a personal relationship with everyone in the Coven to show I was trying to be their friend. For some reason they liked me, I don't know if it's because of my looks, personality or power but I like that they approved of me becoming one of them.     I took a deep breath and start to walk outside with Tobias holding my hand. Everyone turned towards us and bowed as we walked by. There are at least twenty thousand Vampires here, not quite the entire Coven but close to 3/4ths.      When we got to the alter Tobias kissed my hand and walked to the front row sitting next to his mother. As Tobias sat down one of the Elder males got up and walked towards me. I curtseyed and he bowed his head slightly. Once we both stood up straight he looked at the full moon and back to me, making sure my eyes were not golden brown.      "Are you ready Paris?" He looked hesitant, he has never changed a Werewolf during a full moon yet alone a female Werewolf.      "I am ready Thomas, don't worry about Elizabeth coming out." I said it calmly while taking his hand in mine and squeezing gently. Thomas smiled softly and took a step closer to me. His fangs slowly started to show as he let his eyes turn red.      "This will hurt a little but I promise it won't leave a mark." He gently whispered so that nobody could hear him. "I will let Tobias leave a mark on you later." He pulled away to see my face and when he saw how shocked I was he laughed.     "You knew?" I softly whispered hoping he would hear me.      "He told me he wanted to propose to you and asked me for permission." I sighed after he told me that, slowly letting my tense body relax.      "Are you ready?"     I nodded in response and I felt his fangs prick the skin just below my jaw. It felt like my body was on fire and I tried not to whine. My jaw clinched and it felt like I was going to break my teeth so I looked for something to focus on. I glanced over at Tobias and he was leaning forward, elbows on his knees, hands holding his head up and his jaw clenched. I could tell he wanted to stop my pain but he knew I had to do it.     Thomas pulled away, licking his lips and taking a deep breath. "You did good. Stand here until the bleeding stops or the others might want to take a bite of you."      I nodded and he walked over to Tobias making sure her didn't come near me. I wiped my neck and could feel a slight pain but I also smelt something that made me want to lose control.      I let out a deep growl as soon as I smelt the bastard. Everyone looked at me, eyes wide and red. I didn't know why until I heard his heart beat. I turned around and saw his power hungry eyes.     "Alpha Vogel" I growled and could feel Izzy wanting control.     "Alpha Ramirez" He growled back deeply and I wanted to rip his throat out right then and there.     Tobias ran to my side and pulled me close to him. All it seemed to do was piss Vogel off more. It's never good to piss off an Alpha who willingly stepped outside his territory.     "Get away from her." He clenched his jaw showing Tobias that he wasn't messing around but Tobias didn't let me go.     "What are you doing here Vogel?" Tobias grunted as he held my waist tighter than earlier.     "I came chasing after what's MINE." He stared at Tobias practically daring him to claim me.     "I am not yours Vogel." I said it calmly while turning to the Vampires. They didn't do anything, they knew I could protect them on my own. "I am my own person, I am my own Alpha."     "You are not an Alpha anymore Paris." He looked at me with sympathy but I know he isn't sorry for what he did to me.     "I am stronger than you and I will NOT be under you again." I showed my fangs as soon as he started to step closer to me. "You have no authority here Vogel."     "Not yet, but one day I will." His confidence is way too high even for an Alpha, but this is no regular Alpha. He is a monster, a killer, and most importantly, he is a disgrace.     "You will never have control of this territory. We are strong enough to take out every Werewolf that even tries to take Vampire territory."  Tobias showed his fangs and had his eyes turn golden brown. "Especially with Hybrids protecting it."     Vogel shifted his eyes from Tobias back to me. "You know better than to turn these blood suckers into one of us."      "And you know better than to slaughter your own kind, yet here we are." I let out a powerful growl as I remembered what he did to my family. Alpha Vogel POV     I hate hiding the truth from my mate, she deserves to know the truth but Zackary doesn't want to tell her. "I had my reasons."     "My family was not a threat !!"      Paris let out a deep Alpha growl to try and shut me up. So I growled back at her. This conversation isn't going the way I want it to. She is more powerful than I am and if she wanted me under control she would have made me bow already. But she won't because she needs me.     "Baby, calm down. We don't want this to turn into a slaughter. I know you're angry and sad but we will get through this." I heard the blood sucker try and whisper, trying not to let me hear.     I let out one more growl before walking up to them and yanking them apart. I gripped Tobias' neck and started to choke him. He kicked my arm trying to get out of my grip and the rest of the Coven just stared at me.     "What are you staring at?" I growled at them then felt a pain in my side. I looked to my left and I saw Paris in her wolf form. I missed seeing her black wolf, I loved staring into her blue eyes. Just watching her made the world around me go dark, only being able to see and smell her. She is mine. I know I killed her entire pack, the Werewolf Royals to be exact. I know I don't deserve her but I couldn't control Zachary back then.      "Paris, Izzy." I bowed in front of them, slowly getting on my knees and looking into her eyes. I can see the anger inside of her, I can smell the disappointment in seeing me. "I am so sorry for hurting you Izzy, Paris. I didn't want to kill them."     Izzy growled at me, not an offensive growl but an irritated growl. One that asks if you're done talking, if that's all I'm going to admit to. I had to look away because I knew what she wanted me to say. But the truth is, I didn't know she knew about it. I didn't want her to know what I did because I felt too f*****g ashamed of it.     Izzy growled again, this time it was an Alpha growl. I looked up at her and didn't know what to say, I just stared into her blue eyes. "I am sorry that I was with them. I didn't know that you knew about it. I didn't WANT you to know. But the truth is that your family didn't want me, so I tried to forget about you."     TOBIAS POV     I hate this guy. Paris told me everything about him a year ago. She didn't want to tell me but we just started sleeping in the same room, she would wake me up every night screaming and crying. I made her tell me in hopes that she would get better, and she did.      Now he just walks in here and claims her again? Nice try jackass but she is mine now. I let out a hiss on accident and saw Lizzy's blue eyes look at me confused. I just shook my head and let them keep talking.     After the douche finally shut the f**k up Paris shifted back into her usual beautiful self. I still can't believe that she is my fiancee, I have been in love with her since we were kids. The Royal families met once a month until the attack that killed the Royal Werewolves happened. I thought I would never see Paris again but she found me five years ago, three weeks after the attack.     I watched as Paris walked pass me and the pathetic excuse of an Alpha. I turned around and saw her bow to Elder Thomas. I couldn't tell what she asked but I saw him stiffen and knew it couldn't be good. After a few minutes she walked back to me and smiled weakly. I did not expect what was about to happen.     "Alpha Jake Vogel, you are not permitted to go back to your pack until you have earned my respect along with the respect of Elder Thomas." I was in shock, why is she letting HIM stay HERE?     "I-" No nuts was about to talk when he was cut off by Paris, "You have no choice, if you refuse you will no longer be an Alpha."      "Why are you doing this?" I could feel everyone in the Coven glaring at her and I didn't want them to start dishonoring her.     "He did not have a healthy relationship with my family and attacked them as soon as they said no to him. I will not let him kill your family due to his dumb ass impulsions." She said it while glaring at the Alpha, he only let out a soft whine and looked at the ground.     Paris POV     I didn't want to give Jake a second chance but I am not willing to lose another family, especially Tobias' family. I turned to the rest of the Coven and they were surprised by my reasoning. I looked at everyone's face, none of them expected me to defend their Queen or Prince. Heck, I don't think they even knew my mate was an Alpha.     I sighed before talking again. "If anyone objects to what I just said please stand."      I waited a few minutes looking around the yard a couple times before realizing nobody was going to disagree with me. I nodded and made a final announcement before letting the Queen take over.     After a few hours of socializing and eating with the Coven everyone started to leave. I turned to Jake and took a deep breath.     "There are a few rules you follow here Jake. You are not allowed to complain about the Vampires or that I smell like one. Tobias is allowed to be with me whenever he wants, I do not need your permission. Elder Thomas has agreed that you stay here but it does not mean that I am doing this for there to be an us." I could feel Tobias' eyes on me, he isn't too happy about me telling him not to make our announcement.     "I understand, but it does not mean that I will not be near you, you are still my mate." Jake's eyes locked on mine and his eyes filled with love as he stepped forward.      Tobias stepped between Jake and I. He was not happy and wanted to make sure Jake knew I was his. I was happy about that because I was not happy with having Jake here either.     "She is mine, not yours Vogel." He practically spit the words out, trying not to have his fangs come out. I took his hand and pulled him closer to me.     "She is mine, the moon goddess chose her to be with me." I felt myself stiffen at that, I honestly don't know if he meant that or not. Deep down I wanted him to mean it because honestly, I still have feelings for him. My feelings are not as strong as they used to be and I love Tobias more but Jake is mine.     "She would never choose you, the person that killed her friends and family." As soon as Tobias said that I pushed him away from me. How could he talk about my parents murder like it was nothing?  Alpha Vogel POV     I could see tears in Paris's eyes, her pain clearly showing and it broke my heart. I wanted to comfort her but before I could go to her she started shifting. Her jet black fur and bright blue are so gorgeous, I was stupid to let her go. I stared at her for a few moments, seeing the sadness in her eyes along with fear and guilt.     Paris and I both let out a growl when Tobias tried to walk towards her. I thought I saw tears in his eyes but before I could say anything he walked towards the front door. He opened the door all the way and waited for Paris to leave the house and run in the woods. She ran outside and Tobias stood there thinking.     "Don't even think about going after her blood sucker. You are the one that brought her family into this, causing her to have a forced shift." I growled, imagining the sad look on her face and the tears in her eyes.     "At least I'm not the one that killed them."     I grunted at that, I wish I could take it back. I never wanted to kill them but when I read HIS thoughts I lost complete control.     "We will talk later, you stay here and I will go after her."      I walked past the blood sucker and went after her. I shifted into my wolf as soon as I reached the woods. I don't know what I would do if she got hurt, she is my mate. My everything. My Luna.     I stopped as soon as I saw her laying in a tree. She always climbed trees in her wolf form so nobody could find her except me. I sat at the trunk of a tree not too far from hers, she looked at me as soon as I got comfortable. I bowed my head slightly telling her I was here for her when she wanted to talk. Paris POV     I wanted to talk to Jake. He knew what I was feeling, better than anyone. But how am I supposed to tell him when he was the one that killed my family, my pack.     I sighed dramatically before climbing down the tree. I usually jump down but I want to procrastinate as long as possible. When I stood in front of him and looked into his grey eyes I saw the person I fell in love with.     I quickly looked away when I started thinking about all of our happy memories. "Why did Zackary take control?" I ask through our mind link.     "I was inexperience. I lost control out of nowhere."     "Nineteen is not inexperienced! We both shifter on our tenth birthday." I glared at him thinking that he forgot OUR first shift.     "I know Izzy, I think about our shift a lot. It was the first time I saw you Izzy, and I know you loved looking at Zackary."     "Zacky, why did you kill my family?" I could feel tears start to wet my fur. He was my everything until I found out what he did.     "I didn't want to Izzy, I just couldn't take the rejection." I could feel water hit my head and when I looked up I saw Jake crying. As much as I wanted to believe him I couldn't. Not because I couldn't trust him, but his heart beat gave him away.     "You should get back to the house now, you have curfew in ten minutes." That was the first excuse that I could think of.     "Alright, when are you coming back?"     "I will be back later, I just want to be alone for now."     Jake sighed before running to the house, really thinking that he had a curfew. When his scent faded I turned around and got ready for what I knew was coming.      Time for a rage slaughter.
