We pulled at 'BerelyJewelry Mall', a very expensive and most famous jewelry mall in the country. To come to a place like this I would have to sell all my expensive bags and shoes to come here.
"Get out." He commanded, looking sternly at me from the front mirror.
His voice startled me out of my seat and I rubbed my wet palm on my pencil skirt. I struggle to hold the handle of the car door as it slips through my wet palms anytime I try to grab it. I needed to breathe, I felt like I was being choked with a rope round my neck.
I grabbed the door handle firmly and quickly got out of the car, trembling and letting my bag fall on the floor. My wet hands were cold and my knees touched.
I took in fresh air.
The whole scene of putting the ring on his finger flashes through my face again. I then realized once more that I had actually proposed to him. I am supposed to be confident instead of fear him. I don't even know him anyway, and I don't want him to perceive me as weak.
I adjusted my pencil skirt, dusted myself and picked up my things that had dropped on the floor.

"Get a ring for Missy," he said, demanding and looking straight into the receptionist's eyes.
"Yes Sir. We will bring samples for you at the VVIP." I could also spot a sense of fear in her eyes and tone.
Who is this man that makes everyone tremble? I thought to myself.
In no time the samples were brought to us at the VVIP, and I can say for a fact that this is something worth saving for. They were all priceless. Was it Sapphire or diamonds or Emeralds? Name them. I could tell that I was drooling over each and every sample that was brought. I still had to put my act together.
The CEO of the mall came to take our orders himself. "Mr. Kross, nice to meet you once again, Sir." I could see that his broad smile was too conscious so as not to offend the 'stranger'.
I choked on my own saliva as I heard Kross. Like The Kaiden Kross? I still couldn't bring myself to believe that he was the one, because it meant I made a mistake. I don't want it to be a mistake, because that will be a blow to my path compared to that of Michael.
The stranger really has an eye for good rings. He picked a 12-carat diamond ring with a price that my Sapphire ring is one quarter of.
A special document was bought for his signature to be imputed, and my eyes widened as I sighted the 'Double K Group' and 'Kaiden Kross' name on it. The same firm that Michael is working in and the name of his boss.
The confidence I claimed before now ran away from me, and I was left alone with my fears, but I didn't let it show.
He was really Kaiden Kross, the same arrogant and inhumane boss that Michael always spoke about. Now I know that I have done myself more harm than good.
The document was handed to the CEO. He bowed and escorted us to Kaiden's car.
I was left all alone with this monster once again.
He gave me the box containing the ring and ordered "Get in." I began to wonder if he was really a man of few words like they say on the internet. He has said only a few words to me since.
"Come over to the front seat," he said as I was about to make my way to the back seat. I mumbled 'No' under my breath, but I couldn't let it out.
Thoughts ran through my mind as I walked hesitantly to the front seat of the car. I've heard of his arrogance and pride and I saw it in the way he made people around him tremble, and I was also a victim.
I pulled down my skirt to cover it up a bit as I entered the front seat because I was scared of what he'd do to me.
My eyes closed tightly as he tilted forward to me and I could feel his breath deeply on my cheek. Then I knew that I was about to get my first kiss from Mr. Arrogant. I knew he'd be nasty, but I didn't expect it this way.
I gripped my sweaty hand on my bag so tight that I could rip it off. His breath became stronger in my ear, and I was already frozen.
"Always fasten your seat belt," he said, pulling my seat belt and clicking it in.
My face turned red and all the hairs on my body stood as our eyes met, and I could see his firmly curved jaw and his hazel eyes. " Now I can see you closely." He said, leaning back and starting the car.
I muttered a curse under my breath.
"Did you say anything Missy?"
I couldn't reply.
"Where....are... we going?" I stammered, finally getting the courage to open up my mouth.
He didn't reply with eyes fixed firmly on the road. Now I regret why I asked.

"Sign here and sign here," the attorney said, pointing at the signature spaces in the paper.
I looked straight at Mr. Arrogant as he pressed every word of his signature into the marriage papers.
One mistake proposing to Kaiden Kross and this is what I get? My life is totally ruined. All my friends are married off to the love of their lives, but my own is different.
I know mum will be very happy that this happened to me.
I promise I will pay off all of this regardless of what it will cost me. I have only lived a few years. I can work harder to make up for the remaining years I didn't start saving. I will borrow whoever it is I want to borrow the money from because I cannot live like this. I need to pay him back so that I can be free.
What if he maltreats me at home? What if he forces himself on me? It is obvious he has concubines lying around, and I will be left heartbroken.
"Miss Trisha, it is your turn to sign the marriage papers," the attorney said, waking me up from my thoughts.
I looked at all the faces around me staring at me and the pen and papers in front of me.
