DESTINED TO BE

My name is Ella, I live in a small village nestled in the rolling hills of the countryside, I'm being known throughout the village for my beauty, kindness, and gentle spirit. I spent my days tending to the animals in my mom's farm and helping her with the household chores. One day, as I was walking through the village market, I caught the eye of a handsome young man named Aiden. Aiden was a skilled blacksmith who had recently moved to the village in search of a fresh start. He was immediately captivated by my beauty and grace, and he knew in that moment that I was destined to be his. Aiden began to frequent the village market, hoping to catch a glimpse of me. He would watch me from a distance, admiring me from afar. I on the other hand too, I had taken notice of Aiden and found myself drawn to him as well. There was something about him that stirred my heart in a way I had never experienced before. He was so kind and humble despite the fact that he had a lot of possessions, which would have made him so proud of and full of himself, but that was not so, he was really a good gentleman. As the days turned into weeks, Aiden and I paths continued to cross. We would exchange shy smiles and fleeting glances, each feeling a deep connection to the other. It was as if they were two halves of a whole, destined to be together. One evening, as the sun was setting over the village, Aiden mustered up the courage to approach me. He spoke to me about his feelings, pouring out his heart and soul to me. I listened intently, my heart swelling with emotion. I knew in that moment that Aiden was the one I had been waiting for, the one who would complete me. Although I felt a little bit younger not yet ready for a serious relationship talk less of marriage, but still he was the kind of man I would love to spend my life with. We spent our days exploring the countryside, laughing and talking for hours on end. Our love blossomed and grew stronger with each passing day, until it was undeniable that we were meant to be together. Our love story seems to come to an end too fast, everything came trembling in just one day, when I came back from the market and heard all the neighbors crying and walling she is gone who will Ella stay with, you shouldn't have left her this fast, just waking in the compound I still could not understand what was happening maybe because I didn't want to believe what my eyes saw, no!! It can't be my Mom, I rushed in throwing all the items I bought from the market mommy!! mommy!! what happened can someone explain to me, I knew mom was sick but I never expected her to leave me too soon. The reality of life began hitting me hard from this very day, life became harder with no one to turn to for support. Never knew any of Mom relatives it was just the two of us striving each day, growing up I never had a dad figure beside me , dad was death even before I was born, the only person I usually hear mom talking with on the phone from Time to time was aunty nene, I was not surprised to see her two days after Mom pass away I think someone must have informed her that Mom is death, she along side with the villagers carry out the burial preparation, mom was buried too fast, there was no need to keep her death body that long, she is death I have to accept the hard truth. After Mom burial, I had no choice than to join aunty nene and her family in the city , that would become my new home, before leaving I never had the chance to let Aiden know of my departure, he was already out of the country side for some business deal, in my mind I felt this should be the end of this infatuation, I'm too young to love maybe this is how GOD want it to end so I can get focus with building up myself more. I left to the city with aunty nene it took us the whole day it was really a long journey, when we arrive I was so tired and exhausted, I had my breakfast then rested a little bit, when I woke up I saw aunty nene besides me sitting on the edge of the bed and starring at me , she asked me if I was comfortable with my new home, I told her yes, and truly I was comfortable and I had always wanted to ask aunty nene about others relatives of Mom and why they never got interested in coming to visit her or even call her, this was actually the right time to do so at least now she is done with the burial stress and her mind is more relaxed, I ask aunty nene are you they only sister mom have , she smiled at me, she told me I think you're mature enough to hear everything, I'm not really your Mom blood sister, we where just childhoods friends who grew up together and we become good best friends to each other your mom have always been a great support to me before I mate my husband who turned out to become that strong support system I have up until today, your mom. And we became so close as sisters, you could barely know we were not blood sisters. Aunty nene told me everything concerning Mom life that day including how she was thrown out of the house by her parents because she was pregnant out of wedlock, after throwing her out of the house no one came looking for her she had just be left alone all by herself with the man who impregnated her, Mom life became worst when she lost dad in death in a car accident.when he was coming back from work. Mom has been left all by herself from that day onward dad brothers were not even interested in Mom's wellbeing nor even their brother child she carried in her womb. Tears stream from my eyes listening to what Mom went through, she might have been really brave to face all this, I determined that I too need to be brave to face the life that awaits me. Since I came to aunt nene house I didn't have the opportunity to meet her husband and children cause everyone left early in the morning to their activities they had for the day, Knowing fully well that this will become my new home I had to start getting familiar with the environment so I stood up from my bed and take a short strolled strolled, Obviously glancing at my new environment, it was nothing like monizull kingdom, it was a huge mansion which was painted with Pink and sky blue paint.The paint made the mansion attractive and outstanding, the surrounding was decorated with different flowers, which were shaped into a specific shape like butterfly and so on. There was a big chandelier in the center of the living room and a waterfall.at the side of the staircase was a jacuzzi. I was amazed, at how beautiful the mansion was. aunty nene felt I have gotten use to the new environment and immediately she started giving me the duties I have to do, we have a lot to do she said. I got my mind prepared for my new duties as we both worked down to her kitchen.the kitchen was spacious, with culinary adorned with sleek countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an array of neatly organized utensils. Do you know how to cook ?” she asked though I wasn't always interested in helping my mom cook but there was something I couldn't denied, that was my mom's cooking skills, and I at least can boost of it. Yess I do she smiled a bit oK, I would be leaving this kitchen in your care, I will instruct you, with what you have to do she said I nodded.she sat at the wooden chair, in the corner of the kitchen.I turned on the gas, opened the freezer, gazing at the numerous vegetables and foodstuffs in there.I recognized a few things, and with her help I was able to make the soup.by then it was almost 7:00pm the meal was already prepared, we were still serving the meal when a slim lady walked in.she was dressed in a red wool knit with long sleeves and a vee neck that exposed a hint of cleage. It clung lightly from chest to hips and fell in a gently flared skirt mom, am home, her petty voice echoed from the living room.hi sweetheart, how was your date? aunty nene asked mom, guess what ? ” she squeaked.he asked you out...” aunty nene guess with a small smile.mom, you literally know everything ” she replied with a smile but her smile soon faded as soon as she saw me, mom, what is this pretty lady doing here ? where did you pick her from, she asked, gesturing at me with an eye of admiration, baby, let go down stairs, I would discuss everything ” aunty nene said. mom, I can't believe you brought such a beautiful lady to our home , she is going to stay with us right, she said this while leaving the kitchen. Aunty nene turned towards me She said it seems Sarah love you already, I nodded in understanding with a smile Few hours later, the dinner was set, Sarah and aunty nene came downstairs.the food smell nice, well done Ella the both said.Sarah smiled so beautiful at me she was literally happy with me.she taste the food and her continuance suddenly changed. who made this wonderful food ?" she gave me some compliment again, I was so happy at least her daughter is friendly and some one I could rely on as a big sis but two more people where still remaining to meet aunty nene son and husband.....
