Chapter 5: The Truth about Chase

Chase's POV:

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, I can't believe I am so nervous. I took her hand and said, "Baby I am a vampire and I know that it is kinda scary but I swear to you on my undead soul that I will never and could never harm you. You are my world, my beloved and I swear your my everything." She didn't scream or holler, instead she took a deep breath and said, " I know you won't and I believe you when you say that I am your beloved, but can I ask for a little bit of time to process this all." Of course I agreed, but it killed me in my undead heart when she turned and walked away from me. My world was walking away, she hadn't broke up with me she just needed time and I had to believe that she would come back to me. I had waited for 100 plus years for her I couldn't lose her now, could I? I went home and texted her, "Baby I love you! Please don't leave me, come back once you are confident in our love, the universe wouldn't put us together unless we were meant to be." I only got no response and I hated it, but she still needed some time to process. I just hoped she would come to me very soon, before my anxiety killed me out.
