To Dream upon a Star

"Cassie time for bed." Momma called out.I knew I had school the next day, but I was so nervous. It was going to be my first day at my new school and I was afraid no one would like me. As momma entered the room she saw that I was so scared, so to calm my nerves she said, "Cassie close your eyes and look up and pick a star and imagine what you want to happen tomorrow and it will come true if you believe hard enough." So I did what she said and then went to pick out my clothes for tomorrow, I chose a pretty yellow dress and a pair of black flats with my yellow headband and black over the shoulder bag. Momma thought they looked good and appropriate for tomorrow. Then I went and took a shower and laid in bed. I was sixteen and going from a school where I knew everyone to having no friends and going to a new school still didn't settle right with me and I still wanted to go home, but I knew that wouldn't happen so I decided to dream of tomorrow and making a new friend and having a great time at my new school. Then I closed my eyes and went to sleep. Goodnight me I hope tomorrow is great.
