Chapter 6: Cassie's Decision

Cassies POV:

It took a couple of days to decide and I didn't want to talk to him till I had made my decision so I skipped school for a few days pretending to be sick. Mom was pretty busy so it wasn't hard. I truly loved Chase, him and I had got close rather fast, I just wasn't sure how to feel about the vampire thing. I mean who would not any sane normal human which I was. I couldn't deny our connection though and I definitely couldn't hurt him knowing I was his beloved, so I chose to be with him. I called and asked him to met me at our favorite spot in the park and was on my way there when I felt like I was being followed. I heard footsteps behind me and felt someones eyes boring a hole in my back. Then I felt a pair of warm strong arms grab me from behind, I screamed and started kicking trying to get loose; when I saw Chase he had heard my screams and came to help. I was in Chase's arms immediately like his mere presants had made the guys back off. I heard him mutter stupid mutts as he carried me to our spot. When we got to our spot he sat me down and said, "since you called I figured you made your decision. Is it good or bad, have I lost you or am I still yours as you are mine?" I took a deep breathe and said, " Chase I love you! I am your beloved and always will be; I choose you as long as I live, just please don't let anyone or anything hurt me baby please. Kiss me please. He leaned in and kissed me so passionately then said, " No one will ever harm you baby. I love you Cassie, my Queen. Then I remembered something and asked, "What did you mean by stupid Mutts?"
