JILIAN'S POV: The nerve of him to say that I was the one who wasted that relationship! “Let’s go.” — Dean. Oh right, I still have to tell Dean what happened. Ugh, why do I have to go through what happened again? As soon as I got into his car, I was about to tell him what happened earlier. “I thought you were honest? Why didn’t you tell me?” — Dean. We had literally just gotten into the car! I was about to tell him. Seriously, he’s so impatient. “You just beat me to it. I was already going to tell you.” — Me. “Stop making excuses. You’re really getting on my nerves.” — Dean. He gets angry so quickly. I remembered what I told him before—that his future girlfriend was going to be unlucky because she would have a hard time dealing with his attitude. “I’m not making excuses, sir. I’m telling you the truth. Ethan wants us to get back together. Of course, I refused. I also told him that I didn’t want to see him anymore.” — Me. “So that’s why your eyes are swollen.” — Dean. “Sir, can I just go home? I’m tired, and I want to rest, please.” — Me. “What about our plans?” — Dean. “Maybe next time, sir. Oh, and by the way, the answer to your question is yes. We’re together now.” — Me. “What? W—We’re together? Okay, okay! No taking it back, alright? Huuu, yesssss!” — Dean. He was so incredibly happy. Now that we’re together, I hope we won’t have a hard time dealing with each other. Will his arrogance get even worse? Ugh, I hope not. When we arrived at my house: “Um, Sir, can we keep our relationship a secret for now? I don’t want other people to think I’m getting special treatment just because I’m your girlfriend. I hope you understand me. Is that okay, sir?” — Me. “Sure, that’s fine with me. As long as we’re really together, okay?” Dean replied with a smile that reached his ears. “Thanks, and I’m sorry. Okay, sir, drive safely.” — Me. As soon as I entered my room, I immediately lay down. I wasn’t feeling well. It felt like I was coming down with a fever. When I woke up, my whole body hurt. What is happening to me? “You slept until noon, Ji. Sir Dean has been here for a while, so I have already let him in. I’m leaving now, okay?” — Ichay. “Take care.” — Me. I got ready right away. I felt embarrassed that Sir Dean had been waiting for me for so long. “Sir, I’m sorry…” — Me. “Girlfriend, it’s okay. I’m your boyfriend, after all. Hihi.” — Dean. I got chills from the way he said that. Hihihi. “Sir, you’re making it so obvious that I’m your first girlfriend. Hihihi.” — Me. “You should be thankful that you’re my girlfriend. A lot of girls are crazy about me, you know. But even if there are a lot of them, I don’t care about any of them. As long as I have you, I’m already content.” — Dean.. Turns out Sir can be pretty cheesy too. He held my hand and hugged me. “You’re warm.” — Dean. “Of course, sir. I’m alive. Hahaha.” — I joked. “Ugh, keep joking. I mean, you have a fever.” — Dean. “Aaaaaah, it’s nothing. I’m fine. Look, I’m full of energy!” — Me. “You’re not fine. Just stay here. I’ll take care of you. Wait a minute.” — Dean. “Huh? Wait, sir—” I couldn’t stop him. He had already called the hotel. Sir is so stubborn. He made me lie down even though I kept refusing. It’s not like I’m seriously sick. Hahaha. He’s so dramatic. Before, even when my nose was bleeding, he didn’t care. Now that I only have a fever, he’s acting like it’s the end of the world. Hahaha. He’s so overdramatic. “Stay here. I’m just going outside to meet Bryan. He brought some medicine. Don’t go outside, okay?” — Dean. Ethan used to be like this too. But he was only sweet to me in the beginning. I wonder if Dean will be different from the other guys. I hope so. “Ugh, Bryan came in. He’s so annoying.” — Dean. “What? It’s not like you two are dating,” — Bryan. These two are so funny. “It's okay, Bryan. Do you want something to drink? What do you want? Juice, maybe—” — Me. “He doesn’t want anything. Just be quiet over there.” — Dean. “Finally, I know where Jilian lives. Now I know where to go when I court her,” Bryan winked at me. I think Bryan already knows about us. Dean is being so obvious, so Bryan probably wants to tease him until he finally admits it. Hahaha. “Huh? Court who?” — Dean asked, confused. “Oh, you want to court me, Bryan? Ugh, why didn’t you tell me sooner?” I said, winking at Bryan. “Huh? Jilian?!” He looked like a cat that was about to give birth. Hahaha. His reaction was so funny. “Drink this medicine, Jilian, so we can go on a date afterward.” — Bryan joked to his friend, Dean. Bryan is mischievous too. He really knows exactly how to annoy his friend. “Bryan? I thought you were my friend! You traitor!” — Dean. Hahaha. Dean was so cute when he got angry. His ears even turned red. “Why, bro? You and Jilian aren’t together anyway, so it’s okay if we go on a date.” — Bryan continued, pretending to persuade Dean. “Hey, Bryan! Jilian and I are together! She’s my girlfriend now, bro!” — Dean. “Hahaha. See, Jilian? That’s how jealous he gets. So be careful. He’s extremely jealous. Good luck with him, Jilian. I’m leaving now. Get well soon.” — Bryan. Dean looked like smoke was about to come out of his nose. Hahaha. “That wasn’t funny.” — He said seriously. He seemed angry. He sat beside me, and he really did look mad. So I hugged him. “It was just a joke. You’re so overdramatic, that’s why we got exposed!” — Me. “Um, Jilian…” — he softly called my name and looked at me, then glanced at his arm. Oops. I didn’t mean to… My body had accidentally brushed against him. Hihihi. I immediately moved away from him. Suddenly, I felt awkward, and so did he. “Um…—thank you for the medicine. Hihihi.” — Me. “Y—you’re welcome. Huuu, it’s so hot here. I’m just going outside for a bit, okay?” — Dean. Hot? We had the air conditioner on. Even though this is an apartment, our place is fully furnished and it’s actually an entire house. We’re already paying for it in installments so that it will eventually be ours. I wonder what happened to him. He really can be such a weirdo sometimes. When the day was finally over, Ichay came home. “You didn’t go to work?” — Ichay asked. “I had a fever, but I’m feeling a little better now,” — I answered. She immediately touched my forehead to check if I was really okay. DEAN'S POV: I was so happy that Jilian and I spent the whole day together. Yes, I know we already spend the whole day together at work, but today was special because… she’s my girlfriend now, and I’m her boyfriend. I didn’t pick her up today because she still had a fever. I should call her. “Sir? Good morning. Coffee, sir.” — Jilian greeted me as I was just about to call her. “Thanks. Why did you come in already?” — Me. “Because I’m feeling better now, sir. I got better because someone took good care of me.” — Jilian. That made my heart flutter, and my ears turned red. Ugh. I know I’ll never get tired of Jilian. She’s so beautiful, and of course, she’s kind too. “Is that so? Okay.” — I replied while trying my best to hide how happy I was. Oh right, Grandpa asked me to go to his house today. “Ms. Jilian?” — I called her. She came into my office. “Yes, Sir? Do you need something?” — Jilian. “Yes. I need you… I’m just going to see Grandpa, okay?” — Me. “Okay, sir. I’ll take care of everything here,” — Jilian. I kissed her on the forehead. “Sir?” — Her eyes widened because she had no chance to react before I kissed her. She was probably going to complain about it, but I had already kissed her. Hahaha.
