CHAPTER 23
They were all standing there, looking nervous and gloomy. Ciara was holding little Mark in her arms, and Ronan had his arm wrapped around her. Cassie stood a little to the side, arms wrapped around her as if she was cold, and she couldn’t be because it was 20 degrees outside.
“So, you’ll let us know when you get there, won’t you?” Cassie said for the umpteenth time.
Kyle sighed theatrically.
“I know, I know, you’ve said you will. But I want to make sure you do.”
“You best go,” Ciara said, with a look at Ronan’s watch behind Mark’s head.
“Yeah, I guess.”
