Sophia arrived at the coffee shop early, she had always wanted this meeting with Alexander; her nerves fluttering in her stomach.
As she waited in the queue to order, Sophia was still thinking of their last encountered. She had been drawn to his charming smile, handsome face, kind eyes, and she was excited to see if their connection is still intact.
The time came for her to order, Sophia asked for a cappuccino and chooses a favourite seat close to the window. She pulled out her phone and checked the time, wondering if Alexander was running too late.
Just as she was about worrying, Sophia saw Alexander walk through the door. He scanned the room looking for were she was and finally their eyes were locked together and he smiled.
Sophia's heart skipped a bit as Alexander was coming towards her. He looked even more handsome and soft skinned than she remembered, his dark hair perfectly messy and his eyes blinking at the corners and he smiled.
"Hey," Alexander said, pushing the chair across her. "Sorry I'm late. Traffic was doing a serious job, so sorry for running late".
Sophia laughed. "No worries, I came here myself".
Alexander pointed his hands towards the waitress and asked for a coffee as he turns his direction back to Sophia.
"So, how's your day been?" he asked, his eyes stunning with interest.
Sophia smiled, feeling a sense of ease she hadn't expected from an Alexander. "It's been good. Just busy with work and stuff."
Alexander nodded. "I know how that is. Sometimes it feels like there's not enough hours in the day"
Sophia laughed. "Exactly! But I love my job, and it's worth the effort"
As they discussed, Sophia felt a sense of ease and how easy it was to talk to Alexander with some of the things they had in common.
They really talked. They discussed about their favourite hobbies, their lifetime accomplishments, their favourite dishes, their favourite working time and the rest. This made Sophia to be very special and she saw that they had some things in common and how she was at ease to communicate with Alexander.
As they finished their coffees, Alexander glanced at his time to see if he's on checked. Noticing that he's behind time, he told Sophia " I'm a bit late, would you come over tonight for a dinner?"
Sophia's heart almost floated. How? Dinner? With Alexander Gray?
Sophia replied that she'll love to in a casual way. Thinking deeply " dinner? With Alexander Gray?"
Alexander grinned, he was very excited. "Great. I'll pick you up at 7?"
Sophia nodded with feelings of excitement and happy memories. She knew this was going to be a very special day in her life and it would open for her new things and as well as better things to come in the future and forever.
As Alexander stood up to leave, Sophia felt very disappointed because they spent just a while and he's already going.
But as Alexander smiled and said, "I'll see you tonight," Sophia was reassured and her heart came back to normal knowing that it would be the best life ever.
And as she saw him leave the coffee shop, Sophia couldn't help but think of how that night would; this made her curious and more curious.
Curiousity was the order of the day; would they have a romantic dinner, or would they do something more adventurous? Sophia didn't realise, but she was excited to find out.
As she left the coffee shop heading towards her car, she knew cam stop thinking about how that night would look like. Things kept pounding on her head and she can't stop being curious.
And as she drove home, sophia couldn't help but put a smile to her face with a sense of enjoyment and self satisfaction. She had this feeling that this night would always be a night they'll remember.
When Sophia got home her whole thought was on how their date would look like. She took a long bath, style her hair and put on her beautiful black dress she loved most.
As she turned her eyes to the mirror next to her bed, Sophia felt confident, beautiful and charming. She knew that she had made a good impression on Alexander, and she was excited to see him again.
It's time; 7:00, Sophia's door came with a knock. She was cakm, gave a breath, caught her purse firmly to see who it truly is
Alexander stood right there in her foot mat, looking handsome and charming in a black suit and black tie. He smiled at Sophia, his eyes, as he admired Sophia's dress.
"You look beautiful," he said, handing her a beautiful rose flower with some adorable scent.
Sophia blushed, feeling excited and nervous. "Thank you," she said, taking the flowers from him slowly with a smile on her face.
As they walked to the car, Sophia couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement in her face and everything about her. She had a feeling that tonight was going to be a night to remember always and always.
And as they went to the restaurant, Sophia knew that she was in for a real and better treat. Alexander was charming, and he made her feel as if she's the only person on this planet earth. She was on the other way beautiful thinking she has stolen Alexander's heart already.
When they arrived at the restaurant, Sophia was amazed at the colourful decoration and the good smell of the meals served. She hasn't gone to this type of restaurant in her entire life. Sophia was much more concerned about tasting the food served in the restaurant because of it's good scent. she hesitantly did.
