Chapter 6: Falling Deeper

Me and Alexander had been together for some weeks now, and I'm going to say it was really amazing. We go on romantic dates, have deep convos, and just enjoy eachother's company; just only us.
I felt like I can be who I am around him, you know He doesn't judge me or try to change me, he just knows and accept who I am and how I was brought up.
One day, Alexander told me to meet him at his office. I was shaking already, because I didn't know what's going to happen. But when I reached he just smiled and said "hey, I got a huge surprise for you".
He walked with me to the rooftop, and OMG, the view was stunning! We could see the whole city from up there. Alexander held my hand, and we just stood there, examining the view; the front view though.
"I'm really happy with you, Sophia" he said, looking into my eyes. "I feel like we got a real connection".
I smiled, "I know exactly what you mean" I said. "I feel it too".
We stood there for a while, just enjoying eachother's company. Then Alexander took me to a fancy restaurant for lunch.
As we ate, we talked about our future plans. Alexander said he wanted to travel the world with me, and I was like " that's sounds amazing!"
We laughed and joked, and just had a great time. I felt like he was a world to me.
After lunch, Alexander took me to his house. Its a huge mansion with a beautiful garden. I was like "wow, this is amazing!"
Alexander laughed and said "I'm glad you like it". We turned around the garden, enjoying the fresh and warm air and the beautiful flowers.
As we walked, Alexander told me about his previous life. He said he had an unbearable childhood, but he never gave up. He worked hard and built his business from the very start.
I listened, feeling a deep respect for him. He's a good person and It seems I'm too lucky to have him.
As the sun began to go down, Alexander took me to the living room. We sat on the chair and he turned his right arm over my shoulder.
"I'm really excited, Sophia" he said again. "I feel like we got something special".
I smiled, feeling my heart full of love. "I know exactly what you mean" I said. "I feel it too".
We sat there for a sometime, just enjoying eachother's company. Then Alexander leaned in and kissed me tenderly.
It was a soft, gentle kiss, but it was as if there's an electricity connector down my spine to my bone marrow. I felt like I was melting into his arms.
As we moved away, Alexander smiled and said "I love you, Sophia"
I was like "wow, I didn't expect that!"
But then I realized that I felt the same way. I loved him too.
"I love you too, Alexander" I said, smiling.
He grinned and pulled me into a tight hug. We held eachother for a while just enjoying the moment.
As we pulled away, Alexander said "I'm so happy, Sophia. I feel like I've found my soulmate".
I smiled, "I know exactly what you mean" I said. "I feel like I've found mine too".
We sat there for sometimes, just enjoying eachother's company. Then Alexander said "I want to spend all of my life with you, Sophia. Will you marry me?"
My heart stopped. I was already shivering thinking it's just a prank "wow, is this real?"
But then I looked into Alexander's eyes, and I saw the love and sincerity there. I knew that he was serious.
"Yes, yes, a million times yes!" I said, tears of joy streaming down my cheeks and running to my dress.
Alexander pulled me into a tight hug. We held eachother for a while, just enjoying the moments; the tight connections the hug brought and it's true meaning and reality.
As we moved away, Alexander said "I'm so happy, Sophia. I promise to always love and cherish you, I promise to always take care of you and to keep you in your right position as a woman".
I smiled, although feeling the same wat. "I promise to always and always love and cherish you too, Alexander" I said.
We hugged again, and I knew that our love would last a lifetime.
