Isabella Raven Work is always hectic and being a surgeon you must put emotions aside but how do I put emotions aside when I lose a patient? and you have to be the one who tells their family members that their loved one has passed on. After announcing the death of my patient to her family. I left the hospital, I had to get my sweet comforting chocolate cake at my favorite Coffee & Sweets Bar. "Hi can I get the usual?" the waiter had became my friend, everytime I come here is when i lose a patient and during our mini chats I had told her that. She brought me my order and indulged on the cake, it didn't take away the pain but it sure lifts my mood everytime. I left the shop and went to sit on the brunches near, to get some air. A tall handsome mystery man stood in front of me, I guess he could see that I was not well. "Marry Me" he was looking me in the eye with his ocean blue eyes. Was he crazy? how can he asks a stranger to marry him? he could see that I was shocked, i could tell he was confident that i was going to agree. I was still feeling sad after losing my patient,maybe this is what i needed. "Alright" but he says nothing after that. We took a cab to the court house and we legally got married. We were waiting for a cab to my apartment and my new husband had not said anything to me after we signed our marriage certificate. The cab arrives and the driver asked for address, i thought my husband will say his address but he said nothing, i gave the driver my address. He only said something after we had entered the apartment "Nice" i looked at him and smiled "Thank you Mr Bardot" "Call me Love" after that he did not say anything else. It was at night and I was not sure where I wanted my husband to sleep at because my apartment was a 2 room.I think he noticed that I was unsure of something "I will sleep on the floor, don't worry" "I am saving money for a bigger place but we can take some of it and buy a bed for you" "Okay" he made himself comfortable on the floor and I went to my room and locked the door, we were married but that doesn't mean I trust him. RING! RING! RING! I was woken up by my phone "Dr Raven you are needed for an emergency surgery" , i looked at the time it was 02am and I changed to my work uniform. I had to wake my husband and tell him I am leaving. He is sleeping peacefully and i wish i didn't have to wake him up but i don't want him to wonder when he wakes up to an empty house. I shook him slightly, he opened his eyes a bit "I have an urgent surgery, I need to go" "Okay" he closed them again.*sighs* I hope he heard me. After 7 full hours of surgery which turned out to be successful, i went to the receptionist to notify me when i am needed on my personal phone then I went home. I found the place empty with only a note on the table " Pack your clothes, Call me when you are done" he left his phone number also. I was hoping that at least his place was a bit bigger than mine so that he won't have to sleep on the floor. I didn't have much clothes as I am always at work so it did not take me long to pack.I called him " I am ready" then he hungs up, He is very Cold! He arrived after an hour and took my bag and we went to a cab that was already outside. "Are you tired?" he asks "I am exhausted, the surgery took 7 hours.I need some rest before they call again" the car suddenly stops in a town where it is known that only billionaires stays in here. I peaked through the car window and saw a huge mall "I think we should go put my bag before coming to the mall" he got out of the car "Come out" his voice was so dominant and I had no choice than to obey. "This is not a mall, Its our home" I look at his face to see if he was joking but he was serious, this was my first time being speechless. We walked inside, i looked around the house was ELEGANT, it was nude with full of glitters. I could get used to this "How much is your worth" i had to ask him. "Mrs Williams will show you everything, I have to got to a meeting" then he left me. Mrs Williams came to take my bag and showed me my room which was bigger than my apartment. "Yes please" she smiles and we walked out of my room,she showed me Mr Bardot's bedroom but did not dare to enter inside, i guess she respected him that much. She showed me every corner of the house and i was dead tired. I went to bed to get some sleep. "Mrs Bardot lunch is ready" she shook me slightly. "Thank you for waking me up Mrs Williams" she left and i took a shower and wore my simple casual clothes as i was still wearing my work uniform. I went downstairs using the stairs, the house had stairs and elevator but because i did not like the elevator i had to choose the stairs. On the living room I only found my husband alone and i sat opposite him.We ate, Mrs Williams emptied the table. Mr Bardot is very handsome, sharp nose, sharp jawlines,thin lips, ocean blue eyes and had short brown hair. He was also very muscular, 16 inches taller than me.
