Sophia walked out of the school building, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She had survived another day of classes, and now she could focus on her part-time job at the local library.
As she turned the corner onto Main Street, Sophia noticed a commotion outside the coffee shop. A group of students were gathered near the entrance, staring at something on the ground.
Sophia's curiosity got the better of her, and she walked over to investigate. That's when she saw him – a tall, dark-haired boy with piercing blue eyes, kneeling on the ground, picking up scattered books.
Their eyes met, and Sophia felt a jolt of electricity run through her body. She quickly looked away, feeling embarrassed and flustered.
The boy stood up, brushing off his jeans, and smiled at Sophia. "Hi," he said, holding out a book. "I think this is yours."
Sophia took the book, feeling a spark of connection as their hands touched, it was love and she felt it. "Thanks," she said, smiling back at him.
As they stood there, frozen in time, Sophia felt a sense of wonder. Who was this boy, and why did she feel like she'd known him forever?
