Tia's POV
"My feelings are never gonna change for you" That was his last statement exactly. Today morning he kissed me on the cheek in front of the school. It wasnt like I didnt like it but seeing all those people's reaction made me question myself. When his lips touched my cheeks it was like a tingling sensation all over my body. It was just a little peck but I have never been kissed by a person of other gender. It has always been my mom and me and my mom always kissed me in the forehead. This kiss was a new feeling altogether. Then he put his hands around my waist, it was like my stomach had lots of fire crackers bursting inside of me. I have never felt like this before.
Theo was tall, slim and handsome. His brown hair showed he is a Brent. All of his family had brown hair. His eyes were a perfect shade of blue. Its like a ocean where you could just swim around all day. His nose was sharp with a jawline that complimented his smile. His smile, oh god it was a very rare sight but when he did smile it was like everything around him light up. There were many girls eyeing him but due to his rude nature and cold behaviour most of them tried to stay away from him. He was picked up and dropped in a car and he wasnt very social in other times too. He pretty much kept all by himself.
He has a phobia of being touched, well thats new information but why the hell did I just accept the ring pop from him? She questioned herself. He asked me to be his girlfriend. Well I am his friend and I am a girl so I am already his girlfriend accepting this ring pop isnt going to change much. Keya and Melissa were so against of me talking to him. They thought he has a ego as big as his house. When they got to know him better they thought he was bearable. We all hangout together during lunch break. May be he just needs other friends too that can show him that they can care for him just like me. He is interested in basketball, he said it himself he has a court in his home and chess and Golf.
Tia was thinking while Shelly entered the home.
"What are you thinking honey?" Shelly asked kissing her in the forehead
"Nothing much mom. Trey asked me If I can be his girlfriend" she said innocently.
"Wow, what did you say?" She asked with her brows raised.
"I said yes. He is my friend and he is a boy so he is my boyfriend already."
"Oh T, you silly girl. I dont think thats what he meant."
"Oh, what did he mean then?" Tia asked amusingly
"I think he meant like a couple. Boyfriend and girlfriend."
"Oh, arent we too small for that?"
"Yes, you are small for that. So may be just be clear with him about your views on this whole girlfriend thing."
"Hm. I will mom. Thanks for not freaking out."
"Its nothing baby. These things happen when you grow up. Its all part of life. Just remember nobody should be important to you than yourself."
"Sure. Love you mom" she hugged her mom and went to her room.
Trey's POV
I told her that I like her. I asked her to be my girlfriend. She said yes and took my ring pop candy. The first day I saw her, I couldnt help but feel like somehow she is going to be my friend. Her beautiful brown eyes were like two chocolates, her thick black hair that complimented her white skin, she was too thin, I dont know where all the food she eats goes to. Averagely tall she is like a perfect little town girl.
Yesterday when she hugged me I felt a warmth in my heart. This kind of feeling only comes when my Grandma hugs me. I dont even like my mom and dad hugging me. I just prefer a high five. May be thats because I am not very fond of them. Today morning when Micheal left I was so relieved. No more Micheal for atleast 6 more months. Dad and Mom will be here for Christmas, may be I can tell them I dont need Micheal to monitor me every 6 months. If they dont trust Grandma and Grandpa, they shouldnt leave me with them and if they are leaving then they should not send him to cross check everything.
I kissed her today. Its just a little peck on the cheek but for a person like me its a big step. I just wanted to show her how thankful I am for helping me yesterday but that kiss changed something in me. I felt a smile crawling up my face everytime I saw her. When I saw myself in the mirror its the same smile Grandpa has when he sees Grandma. Thats when I knew that I have started to have feelings for her. So I asked her to be my girlfriend but I wasnt sure what she was going to say. Whatever her reply was my feelings were not going to change. But she said yes, she is my girlfriend. I feel like I am about to fly off to the clouds.
When I reached home Grandma was waiting for me. "Hi Grandma"
"Hi Trey, you look cheerful today. Did you have some kind of test today too?"
"No Grandma, no tests. I am just happy"
"Its so good to see you smiling darling. You have a precious smile. You should smile often, it just lights up this house."
"I will keep that in mind. I love you Grandma." He kissed her and went to his room.
They both started to think what this phase of their friendship is going to be like.
