Long Awaited Love

For as long as Lynn can remember her life has not been an easy one. Although her mother lived her dearly she couldn’t always protect her from her fathers wrath. He could be so evil at times. It made it so difficult to ever feel loved in that environment. Lynn’s family was always moving and had very little to offer them as far as a future so everyday was a struggle wondering if they might even be able to eat. She felt like a maid most of the time always being forced to clean. All she wanted out of life was to be loved and find that one person for her. Lynn trying to escape the situation made the first of many mistakes and became a prisoner in a relationship she desperately wanted out of. She married Alton when she was just 18 years old. Things seemed to be good. He was kind to her and really seemed to love her. After a time though he started showing his anger. It was slow at first but gradually increased. This was the life she vowed she never wanted. This marriage was only compounded when she had her first child. Always wanting to have the father there made it even more difficult to leave. Lynn made the decision to stay and eventually had three children in this marriage before she realized she needed to protect herself and her children.
