ELIJAH'S POV Emilia walked away from the ancient tree, her steps uncertain. I could sense her confusion, her mind reeling from the visions she had seen. I stayed hidden, giving her space to process everything. As she disappeared into the trees, I emerged from my hiding spot. I knew I had to follow her, to make sure she was okay.
