But love alone was never enough, not when Tylor’s family saw her as nothing more than a stain on their legacy. But love is never enough when power and bloodlines dictate fate. Tylor’s family saw Liza as nothing more than an unworthy outsider, a threat to their legacy. Determined to erase her from his life, they orchestrated the ultimate betrayal. Chapter 1
THREAD OF FATE CHAPTER 1 Liza Smith was a young woman in her late 20s, ambitious woman with a heart of gold. She had lost her mother at a tender age, leaving her with her father, Oliver Smith, and younger brother, Jayden Smith. Despite the challenges they faced, Liza's father had worked tirelessly to provide for his family, running a small restaurant that served delicious food to the local community. Liza had always been driven to succeed, and her father's sacrifices had not gone unnoticed. She had worked hard to excel in school, graduating with a degree in marketing. Her passion for sewing clothes was another creative outlet that brought her joy. After completing her studies, Liza had been searching for a job to help support her family. Her brother, Jayden, was still in school, and her father's restaurant, although successful, struggled to make ends meet. One day, Liza stumbled upon a job posting for Williams Fashion Home, one of the biggest and most reputable companies in the city. The company was owned by the influential and powerful Williams family, known for their wealth and business acumen. She had always wanted to work in Williams fashion home. Tylor Williams, the first son of the Williams family, was a handsome and charming young man. He had two siblings, Sam and Daniella, and his parents, Cole and Anita Williams, were the chairman and CEO of the company, respectively. Tylor held the position of senior director, and his family's legacy weighed heavily on his shoulders. The Williams family's matriarch, Vivian Williams, had founded the company and built it into the empire it was today. Although she had retired, she still maintained a keen interest in the company's affairs and would occasionally visit the office to offer guidance and wisdom. Liza's eyes widened as she read through the job description. This was the opportunity she had been waiting for – a chance to work with a prestigious company and secure a brighter future for herself and her family. With a deep breath, she submitted her application, hoping against hope that she would be selected for an interview.
