THREAD OF FATE CHAPTER 15 Helena burst into Liza's room, a bright smile plastered on her face. "Williams Fashionist!" she chimed, teasing Liza. "It's been a while since we last saw each other. I’ve missed you so much. How's the new job treating you?" Liza laughed, rolling her eyes good-naturedly. "Hey, bestie! I've missed you too. It's been crazy busy since I started, but I'm loving every minute of it." Helena plopped down on Liza's bed, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "So, tell me about Williams Fashion Home. Is it as fabulous as it sounds?" Liza grinned, a dreamy look in her eyes. "Oh, Helena, it's even better than I expected. I'm absolutely loving it. And you know what's even more amazing?" Helena leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper. "What's that?" Liza's face turned pink, and she giggled. "Mr. Tylor, the director, he's been really nice to me. We went out for dinner on Thursday, and he even gave me a lift home." Helena's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, that's amazing! You're really making an impression, aren't you?" Liza nodded, her smile growing wider. "I think so. And the best part is, I really like him. He's so kind and genuine. Helena squealed, bouncing up and down on the bed. "My friend is in love!" she teased, laughing. "I knew it, I knew it!" Liza blushed, laughing along with Helena. "Shut up, bestie! But seriously, I do really like him. The problem is, I think Sonia, the manager, likes him too." Helena's expression turned serious. "That's tough. But don't worry, Liza. You're an amazing person, and if Mr. Tylor doesn't see that, then he's missing out." Liza smiled, feeling a surge of gratitude towards her best friend. "Thanks, Helena. You're always so supportive." Helena grinned. "That's what best friends are for. Liza raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Enough about me, let's talk about you. What's new with you, bestie?" Helena's face turned pink, and she giggled. "Well, there's this guy who came into our coffee shop a few days ago. He's really cute, and we've been talking ever since." Liza's eyes widened in excitement. "Wow, that's amazing! Tell me more." Helena leaned in, a conspiratorial look on her face. "We're just friends for now, but I have to admit, I'm really drawn to him." Liza squealed, bouncing up and down on the bed. “My friend is in love.” The two friends chatted for a while longer, catching up on each other's lives. Finally, Helena stood up, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Let's go out and celebrate our newfound love lives... or lack thereof!" she said, laughing. Liza grinned, already knowing the answer. "I'm so down, bestie! Let's go!"
