Lost in the Fall

"Have you wondered, what it's like to fall?.." The scent of pure fresh air, gusts of loud wind passing, progressing to a land I do not know of and a wind so calm yet violent meets my face. As I looked around me, there was nothing but clouds and a warm bright sun setting beyond the horizon of clouds as I fall in the clouds' shadow. Beneath me lies no land and where I fall to, is a destination I do not know of... The fall provided me peace, the violent wind was all I could hear And not a sound was heard or a word that was uttered. "Yet, where am I going?" "To what lands awaits me an adventure?" "Open plains? Raging seas?" "But the questions remain... What are those? Whose memories are these?" "Still, in the air and questions fill my mind" "Close to the answer, I am not" As I closed my eyes, I then found myself awoken on a hay stack lying inside the farmer's barn as I was reaching with my hand to the to the hole above the ceiling. The locals were alerted they spoke of a language unknown to my knowledge, I tried to speak but the energy I did not have, was it the fall? Where did I fall from? Who am I? the questions filled me as when it did during the fall, I did not have answers nor a person to explain to me, I then felt light headed and I could no longer have the energy to stay awake, I could only hear the voices of the villagers slowly fading as I fall asleep. I open my eyes and I was falling again, it was beautiful but unlike the last fall this experience... was horrifying, I was falling in rapid speeds and as I near the land, a child's voice whispered to me in an echoed voice as I was in fright "Hello Dugal" said the voice I stopped falling and time ceased to continue, a shadowed being fell from the sky and neared my face leaving an innocent smile with a terrifying presence, I screamed at the shadowed entity as it holds my head and enters. At that moment I had woken up horrified as I was, I sat up immediately with eyes wide open, heavy breathing and sweat along my body, I try to figure out if what I was seeing was real or an illusion. "What was that" said Dugal with a trembling voice as he grips and opens his hand as he Looks at it shakes due to the fear. "Are you alright boy?" said the man in the room Surprised by his presence, his body reacted to it leading to what may have a blow to the man's face but was blocked by the man's palm swiftly as a minor movement in the air occurred by the blow Dugal made. "A fighter... hm Interesting" said the Man "Wha-, W-who are you?!" said Dugal as he grips the man's clothing by the neck "I should be the one asking you Fallen one" said the man as he pulls Dugal's hands off him Fallen one? What does he mean? I looked around and see as I'm in someone's home who I assume is the man I am conversing with right now, I lower my guard and take deep Breaths and calm myself, so I would be able continue asking him my questions. "What do you mean fallen?" said Dugal as he attempts to sit down on the bed "You fell from out of nowhere boy and made a hole in my friend Whelton's ceiling barn, Heh you should've see how you scared the life out of the old man HAHA... Milk?" said The man as he pours a glass of milk and hands it to Dugal "Thank you" said Dugal as he drinks it "Your welcome" said the man with a smile as he cleans some cups "So... when I was falling in my dreams it was true then" said Dugal as he looked above the ceiling in amazement to what happened "Oh? You must have had quite the fall" said the man as he sits beside Dugal "It was..." said Dugal as he reminisces the feeling of falling in his dream "So, your name? what is it" said the Man "My name..." said Dugal As he tries to remember his name, he remembers the voice that whispered to him in an echoed manner, "Hello Dugal" "Its... Dugal" said Dugal as a remembers the name spoken to him and also remembers the trauma that followed after it scaring him once again as he imagines the illusion of what he saw then as he lowers his head and holds it with his hands in a means of looking away from it. "Boy it's alright, calm yourself now" said the man as he tries to find a way to calm me, As I cry myself to the trauma that nears itself to me whenever I think of it, the man leans my head on his chest and spoke to me these words in a gentle whispered manner With a look of familiarity of the situation. "Boy, a shed of tear lays no answer in clearing the fear that lies in your mind, you must fight it, don't run from it" he said and paused "Let it know who truly rules your mind" said the man His words influenced my mind, clearing all fear that rests within it followed by a yellow waved that surged throughout the village, across the land, surging through all kingdoms and every part of the globe felt the energy gaining notice of every power that existed. "Something has awoken" said a strange man somewhere "This power! It's exciting!" said a creature somewhere "The wait is over" said a strange woman somewhere "I await the master of this power" said the strange being somewhere As I gained hope in his words, I looked at the man's eyes and saw a glowing faint reflection in it as he looks at with a surprised face, the house shook and stopped, slowly I lost energy and my eyes could no longer stay open until it closed and I fell asleep in the man's lap. he lays me down in the bed he provided me as I slept through the night, Footsteps of running people came to the doorsteps and loudly opened the door but not enough to awake me, A lady with brunette colored skin slammed open our doorsteps with the village guards angrily screams in a fearing manner. "EURIC! WHAT IN RALOS' NAME WAS THAT?!" screamed the lady "Shhh" said Euric in a serious face "What do you mean shush! Something happened and you-" said the lady as she gets cut off by Euric "SILENCE" said Euric in a loud voice as his eyes glowed green and clenches his fist Everyone seems to have forgotten I was asleep. Somehow I was untouched and continued my slumber, Euric calmed down and sat on a chair, As the room silenced they could finally speak properly to one another. Euric lets out a sigh and says "He possesses it" said Euric in a serious face as he looks into the lady's eyes The lady left dumbfounded then confused by what he meant as she didn't understand. "What do you mean he possesses it?" said the lady The crickets cricket outside of the house and the owls hoot in the quiet of the night Euric speaks in an intimidating deep voice and says "Sol" ---End of Chapter 1---
