The Little Rose [THE DEVIL WITHIN]

Hey guysss umm not really my first time writing but i hope i will complete this one * Loud noises, shouts, clashes of weapons, gunshots, fire burning everywhere in the small village  except a little hut where a woman was laid with her husband beside her awaiting the delievery of their child. The woman laid in pains as she was trying in all her might to push out the baby but all her efforts were in vain as the child was not coming forth. She then turned to her husband and said  "we have no choice but to involve HER".  The man was thrown off guard my the sudden request of his wife but did not question her as he went of to fetch the old witch in the midst of the chaos. *knocks* " who dares visits evil". Said the witch ( she was very cruel and wicked and legend tales of her weren't any thing close to good). "I need your help the village is under attack and my wife is to put to bed but the baby isn't coming forth and time is running out" .  The man replies afraid that he might die cause nobody visits her and stays the same or live. To his surprise the witch replied "very well take this and have her drink it but...."  She lingers for a second then said what was dreaded next "there is a price to pay"  The asked man asked what the price was and she said "her soul shall be mine but until she has turned 18 i will claim what is mine and her name shall be rose" ( legend had it that the witch had a daughter named rose but died and many claimed that she ate her own daughter). The man hurriedly accepted the offer not really weighing the conciquences and rushed back to his wife who was in so many pain and gave her the substance which she drank and was able to give birth. But they where already out of time as their attackers barged into there little hut and the man hid the baby in a little basket and hid her away but he left a piece of paper which had ROSE inscribed on it. They were both killed and the entire village burnt down incuding the old woman was dead and everything in ruins except the baby rose....
